First Annual Maker Day at Cape May Courthouse Library in NJ on March 21 2015. I was printing InMOOV (right hand) there.

Started to assemble the torso and also made a stand from an old office chair and chrome pole. This allows me to move and work on InMOOV much easier. Also included back of torso. I had a difficult time trying to figure out how to mount the servo holder but I think this is correct.

Took the seat off of an old office chair. This will act as a base for the torso to get mounted to. I added an adjustable metal pole to this stand that you can see in another picture.

The start of a new friendship!

    • A bit of Photoshop here and there, ahaha.
That’s the way to get the InMoov logo turned in the correct position.

Here is a view of the front of torso. I have it mounted on a temporary pole until I get further along.

Hi Gael, Yes I do plan on printing the whole robot. Up until now, I have been using our public library’s 3D printer and decided to purchase my own. I did not want to spend the high cost of a MakerBot 2X Replicator which is what the library has. I have found a printer based on MakerBot called PowerSpec 3D Pro with dual extruders that handles ABS…[Read more]
