I just visited the InMoov website for the first time this summer, and realized that Gael had actually updated quite a few things. Nice! 🙂 Naturally, I restarted my dormant InMoov project and celebrated by mounting him to his very own chair base.
brilliant, i knew i was hanging on to that broken chair base for some reason. Now i know what it is!

Nice to see that you have come that far with the build. I was a bit worried about the 3D printer fire.
Ah, you remember that. 🙂 I actually got another printer just like the one that was damaged, and then I took a chance and sent the broken one for repair. Amazingly enough it was totally repairable, so now I have two Flashforge Dreamers working for me. 🙂
I use the same chair technique on mine. I welded a section of pipe to it to bring him up to normal level. Slides right into Gaels mount.

Yes, I remember seeing that a long time ago. 🙂 I will probably let my InMoov keep its chair base until the legs are finished. But no pressure Gael, please take your time. There are many other things that need to be done first. 🙂
