here is the first video of “Hansi” with working Torso and Head
very well finished and alot gone into the finish of the parts by the looks of it. i like the led lighting effects. how did you achieve that, especially the eyes ?
i make this FX with NeoPixel Ring.
12 LED NeoPixel for the Head and a 24 LED NeoPixel for the Torso
Noticed that your shining Hansi talkes and understands German. Are you controlling it with MRL? If so could you provide details for the setup?
Yes Hansi is understanding german, but i use a EZB4 Controller to do that.
Wow. That’s a high quality build. You must have spent a lot of time to make the parts look so good 🙂
hi rentaprinta how did you mount the neo pixel in the head and where ?
Nice video Boris! InMoov lights up for Christmas time!!
it’s nice when InMoov starts to talk through program isn’t it?
I heard you had to use keyboard typing during the Berlin Makerfaire instead of voice recognition, in fact I met Bodo Facklam in Roma.
yes the Inmoov can make now some christmas atmosphere 😉
My girlfriend is using the keyboard to write sentences to give better answers to the people. Normaly the Inmoov had some random programs who are running. But to give a answer to a question what he did´nt know, we must use the keyboard.
I was thinking to use a bluetooth…[Read more]

So you impress us with a shiny underarm part! I assume this is the result from some additional treatment and not the output of your ultimaker?
its a product of the ultimaker, but after printing i do a lot of polish and varnish:
Here is a manual how i do this:
thanks for the link. I see you do not mind long printing times as you are always busy with finishing the previously printed parts 🙂
The parts you create are simply awesome!

Hand Update and Head Update with eyes
Very good job on the hands and head!
You got a very good finish for the hands as well. Will you spray the head or keep it with the Primer spray?
late i will spray on the head normal varnish for the end clear varnish – like my hands.
Hand 95 % finsih >
hello do you use acetone?and what is the material grey in end fingers? thank you amby
no i printed in 100% PLA so Acetone not helps me. I use “superglue” or “one-second glue” to fix the parts. But for the Hands i don´t need it because the finger part give in one part:
And the end of the Finger are Gaels Finger tips / tops in Silicon
I hope i could help you!!!
Boris / RentaPrina
thank you for answer me
i find your print so nice
have you do a tutorial for explaine how you do
i am very surprising
your hand is like actetone how you do?
thank you amby
like i said i printed in 100% PLA and then i polish the printed part. I will make a Tutorial how to print and polish PLA and how to use “superglue” and “primmer-spray”.
Very nice job on the surface finish of your PLA.
A tutorial for other builders on the process to polish the PLA would certainly help.
I’m guessing you do a primer spray with a paint finish, no?

Hey very clean work!! What did you spray on it? Polyester car filer?
I see, you did close the holes around the mouth. Nice job and keep us posted!!
I use white prime for all material.
I can tell you what work it was:
1. I printed some parts together – like you know
2. i use “one-second glue” to put the parts together
(that i will get one part)
3. i use gast ( german “gips”) – then i drag the head
4. i spray with primer.
5. again drag the head
6. from 3. to 5. i think 10 times.
So after 2…[Read more]
PS: I forgot one important info:
I printed all parts in PLA in 100% with a Ultimaker 2 in 0.1 layer thickness with 50 mm/s . So i one way it take a while, but on the other hand i have the possibilty to polish/drag/grind the part or cut small pieces away.
Inmoov Head before get a color shower 😉
