    Hi everyone,

I’m a journalist based in Berlin, and am writing an article about InMoov. I’m fascinated by the project and would like to find out more about how people are progressing with the build, your motivations, inspiration and any challenges you’ve encountered along the way.

So, if you’d like to share your story or would be happy for me to ask you some questions, please comment below or drop me a line – planet.nat@gmail.com

Thanks in advance – excited to hear your stories.

    • Hi Natalie
Ask any questions you want, InMoov is such an unusual project, you just get hooked by it. I stumbled across it because I am learning software programming and wanted to also try a bit of 3D printing. I think the first I saw of it was some high school kid on the internet using a wooden version of an InMoov hand for his exams. He was adding resistor sensors to an oven glove and controlling the hand via an arduino board. Then I found out Gaels site about 6-months ago and been printing ever since. • Hi Lorn,

Thanks so much for your message. Your story is fascinating. I do have a few more questions, if you don’t mind.

        Where do you live?
What do you do for a living?
What do you do for fun / leisure?
How did you find out about InMoov and what attracted you to it?
Do you have your own 3D printer?
What do you hope to achieve in the end? Any ultimate goals? Or is it all about the process?
What do you enjoy about it?
Is the community aspect important to you, and if so, how / why?
What has been the most difficult part of the process so far? How about the most rewarding?
Is the open source aspect inspiring? Do you see a potential for it to be applied to other projects or areas of life?

I know this is a lot of questions so, if you prefer, feel free to answer only those you feel most pertinent. You can email me directly planet.nat@gmail.com

Many thanks again and I look forward to hearing your responses. I’ll of course share the article once it’s published, too.

        All best,
