Hi ! This a poc of NeopixelRing control from MRL. I think there is a better solution but it works for me. And I don’t know how to make a service. Ino come with some samples.
What I do : – Connect NeoPixel to Arduino Nano – Flash it with : https://github.com/MyRobotLab/pyrobotlab/blob/master/home/moz4r/Neopixel_MRL.ino – Connect Nano to computer…[Read more]

My inmoov 🙂
Great picture!! I jumped a few times on the community to see what was new but didn’t take the time to write anything, I was just too busy. But I want to say that your InMoov is looking very promising and I really like the pictures that you have posted on the 3d printing forum (french).

Hi ! this is electronic i…[Read more]
Great! One suggestion though, InMoov is much slower with 5V than with 6V. I think you would really benefit of more speed with two DC-DC converters from your 12V to 6V. Are you using the Raspi2 for post processing or did you a system on it with MRL on it? My tests were too slow for video fps with the Raspi2. Couldn’t do good Face tracking. But it…[Read more]
Hi ! yes my DC convert to 6V it’s ok . All the system is Embedded on Raspi2 I agree some fonctions are slow ( analog poling ) . PI3 , It’s maybe a good news for us I will test it :…[Read more]

@admin hello Gael, I look for the camera megapixel in left eyes, what is the reference please?? thanks you.
Hello lilly, it was a very cheap microsoft webcam. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Insten-USB-16.0-Mega-Pixel-Webcam-Camera-With-Microphone-Mic-For-PC-Latptop-Skype-MSN/43627769 But remember it is not HD, so if you plan to use Opencv in MyrobotLab, it will have a bit difficulty to do a correct face tracking. I recommend getting the Hercules HD Twist.

Just received blue ribbon cable. Because Inmoov Numéro6 want to be pretty
Woooiii, pretty InMoov to be coming! A blue clone?
Just a little, can’t chose pink my wife is jealous
If you are looking for a new job for your InMoov, check this: https://youtu.be/LZQdWd_vdoM?t=1m37s 😉
Ahaha! the blue note! It’s going to make your wife even more jealous!
Happy HALoween !
WOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tip i used to print special parts without support like this . Epoxy glue and hotted metal nail inside
Still printing, but all looks good to me: https://copy.com/7NkaxvRHL1W64ZKo
great Marten ! i will try reduce print speed with 100% infill . 226° is not too hot ?? I use simplify3d no Wall Thickness settings just perimeter shell .
Hello Anthony,
226° is a high temp, the UM2 has a lower temp as the display is showing. And with this temp I get good results 🙂 Sometimes I set the temp a bit lower, after the first 10 layers.
Do you have a picture from your end results ? If yes, it good be handy to give a better advice where it go’s wrong.
I checked the K8400 and see there…[Read more]
ok I start at bigger temp too it better to attach bed . This is it : ( the middle is already glued ) : http://lerendezvousdelaterre.com/tmp/piston_cut.jpg .
Looks good Anthony, I think only you need to start the fans from a higher layer ! I see a lot of warping at the bottom side, this happens when the PLA is cooling down to fast. The best way is to start slowly with the fan speed around layer 30 (3mm if you are using 0.1mm layer)
Also check that the print bed is close to the nozzle. If the distance is to far, the first layer will not stick well to the bed. The first layer should create a solid piece of plastic without gaps.
i also printed all the gears and pistons in carbon fiber/abs, very strong and light and durable.
It is interesting to see how 3D printers have improved in 3 years. When I started the project, most printers could only print with raft which would have been a pain when assembling together those two piston parts. Today with heated bed and good sticking surface it becomes easy to print parts in different directions. Also support printing is so…[Read more]
Yeh u r right, i remember it’s like old paper printers 🙂
I need to improve cooling, sorry the fishes for the hack i try something : air-pump flow ( i need better pump, flow is not strong enough ) : http://lerendezvousdelaterre.com/tmp/aqua.jpg
Yeh I remember it’s like paper printers ! This is support killer : I dont need glue anymore but 6 hours … 🙂 Print is perfect 80% infill inside http://lerendezvousdelaterre.com/tmp/support-killer.jpg

Hi robots it’s for your own good ! Intensity sensors . The problem is if we want monitor all the servo , there is lot of wires…
I hope this will give the option to monitor each finger. As you can see, the value isn’t straight (it’s now a pulsed signal) because of the 50HZ servo position update/feedback timing. I think we need something like a RC (Resistor/Capacitor) network, to filter the 50HZ to a constant…[Read more]
Hi ! I try to play with vref and gain potentiometer it’s better . Tks I will check your link . If we cant maybe we can do average about min / max / time pulsed signal

I reduce little gear cause servo mount rubber : Dont know if its usefull or not
http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1024435
Rubber mounts, rubber mounts… I have so many of them in a little plastic bag by now! Let us know if your InMoov is less noisy than mine (I don’t know how we could measure that in decibel) , vibrations make noise in the robot structures.

Awesome time, isn’t it? I loved lego when I was a kid, I can imagine how cool it must be to download the parts, print them, then assemble them. And of course see it moving because of programming! Are you using MyRobotLab?
It’s just pure fun and exhilarating dude long time ago i was not so happy to make soming like this ! I m not using MyRobotLab for now . Only low level servo command. I have just an incomplete hand for now. But when inmoov finish i start MyRobotLab and hope give a soul to inmoov 🙂
Perfect, I see you got the Nervo Board on your picure, thats why I was assuming you might be using MyRobotLab.

PLA Gears : 1 shell 0.1 layer 0.35 nozzle 0.83 flow 180/185° nozzle retract distance : 3,60
Hi Antony your gears sure look good but the specs about printing are tightly bound to your PLA producer, your print device and whether you are really sure about the absolute temperatures your printer is showing you. I can measure the bed temperature with my laser device but even with this my printer manufacturer neglects that the printer need a…[Read more]
Hi ! I try lot of settings and pla before concerning my vertex k8400 more temp = unstable layer + filament stuck. I learn the PLA quality and old age change a lot too . I m not sure about real temp just my finger say it very very hot aie 🙂 . I m actualy testing more low bed temp too ( 45° ) It seem wraping desapear completly . I upload soon…[Read more]
