• It’s been a busy few months.

Finished assembling the TopStomach, now just waiting for Gael to release the lower parts.

Working on some linear drive designs for some legs, tests are looking good so far.

Two more servos to modify & I will have both arms working again.

Next week I’m hoping to attach my new wrist design. By moving the rotation…[Read more]

Gael, thanks so much for the reply,

I was wondering the same thing at the time the arm fell, but if you watch the video, you will see it did a similar thing when it moved backwards and on the second try, it wouldn’t go as far forward as before.

After posting the video, I went to investigate, it didn’t take long to find the cause.
    I had…[Read more]

    • Sorry to hear about the burned servo and broken parts. Learning can be a hard process paved with issues. For info, I hav had 12 broken PistonClavi when I was trying to understand how to mirror the right arm to the left. Between the piston rotation and speed thread of the piston, it was a serious quest for solutions.
There is other servos, like the…[Read more]

    Progress on my InMoov.

    • Great progress! I’m wondering why the arm suddenly falls down… Did you get a broken tooth on your gear shoulder?

  • Finished interfacing InMoov’s right arm with MyRobotLab. Moving on to the left arm now.

  • This is my temporary workshop (my frontroom) until the outside temp gets below 100'F (~2 more months). Two laptops, each with MyRobotLab install, linked for sharing modules/devices. My printer & lots of space.

  • My 3D printer – Solidoodle 3. I had to build an enclosure & filament support to keep it printing well.

  • My middle daughter holding Inmoov MARC's right forearm & bicep. Have ~16 hours more printing to do before I can attach it to MARC.

  • My Inmoov so far. I have already mounted one camera and will be installing a 2nd one soon. I had to redesign the EyeToNose part to allow my cameras.
