This is my solution to mounting the LifeCam 3000 cameras. I used felt pads to bring the camera forward and the lens sits in the back of the eye piece This position prevents the iris showing in the corners of the image I glued the parts together on the basis that if the camera fails I will reprint the eyes and holders. Hope this helps other builders
Thanks for the update. Timely, my camera just arrived today.
Also I glued the camera to the eye but not really necessary and if you have trouble locating the eyeball then insert pins in the screw holes
