Well the build is coming along nicely. I just wish it would go a bit faster.

Jaw mechanism and head internals mostly done.
Having issues with PWM control of MG996R. Default 0,90 etc dont appear to be mapped the same as with the DS929HV's and HS-805BBs?

Rejigged Eye Mechanism (In Green). I couldn't get the existing design to fit together (The original single "small arm" didn't appear to have nearly the reach to move the eyes and would simply hit the EyeCameraMounts?) so i just made it with a 2-arm config (which seems to be more like the original design? Pretty confident i have the latest…En afficher davantage
Getting A-head on InMoov Moving along nicely now. Doing the internals for the head. What fun watching it all come together.

Inmoov got angry because i didn’t fix the hand. 😉
Ahaha, shooting Markus with the eyes!
Birth Of A InMoov And the build continues. Man what sweet fitting parts very little rework to have these parts fit together like gloves.
Skin color plastic or is it the light? This time your prints worked well!
Actually it is brass colored from Protoparadigm. I do like the resemblance to human skin. And the second time around printing worked great. Moving ahead as quickly as I dare.

Just started with my InMoov project. I’ve printed the finger starter and am awaiting servo to complete. I’ve also started printing the parts for the right hand and forearm. I’m really excited to get involved with this project and want to thank Gael for all the hard work in putting this project together. I hope to be able to contribute as I…En afficher davantage

New white face for inmoov 🙂 Parts printed and assembled so far…
Very good! May I suggest coloring in black, blue , green or brown the ring that goes in the eye globe? Wider the iris will be, the less strange he will look 🙂 It ‘s good you decided to reprint the face in white.
Ya.. I will 🙂 i think black… 🙂 look at new 4pid tracking video i made with inmoov 🙂 it is short but spooky 🙂
Yeah! Super I google it for other members
PID values need tweaking.. And i made the video with your default limit (not best values for my reversed build )
My values are restrained because the mecanism hits the side of the head. As you know you have a better versio of the mecanism and head then me. I use previous versions with little design problems…

Well first prints of my InMoov build. Fail, forgot to turn on supports and knocked print off of bed at 95%. Resolution Looked great though. Will hit it with a vengeance tomorrow.

Navigating is getting better all the time here we are using ROS smach to go via 2 way points and arrive at a 3rd point. Later we will add arm movement so we can get a object

Oh I wish my would be on wheels too, why do I have to make legs!!
Robbie’s first autonomous navigation through a gap
IT’S ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!! You kick ass. Nice work man. What kind of accu did you use?
Very nice! Can the road map be more complex with different locations?
Yes using the action server i can set goals when the goal is reached the next action is preformed ie next location or get the cup, open the door. some of these i have already

And the second picture (hand placed well)
Great, now lets see it work. I’m glad you added the rotational wrist and finally placed correctly the hand to the wrist.
Completed the Lefthand and Rotational Wrist. I know that the hand isn’t placed well on the wrist on the first picture. By the way, I printed the pegs (takes only a few minutes!

Here’s a picture of my InMoov head. I’m using a wooden angle plate to hold it while I work on the arms.
Very simple and good idea for to use only the head. Thanks for sharing.

well the day was fun and successful, the kids loved InMoov and had lots of question and i ended up demonstrating him to about 100 kids.
Fantastic, a hundred kids! Think of it, the first 3D printed robot these kids have ever seen, and you were the one to show them. Congratulations.

very cool! Man the students are going to go wild! If you get a minute (not sure you will) please make a picture, I would love to see that.

I made some shoulder modifikation for cables
Aaah, I had been wanting to do that for a long time! Because the cables sometimes get stucked and if they run in the rotation center it is more logic and simple. I have added your Thingy to the Derivatives collection in Download tab.
I’m glad you like it 🙂

Hi All, I am really thrilled about this project. Thanks Gael. I have printed the head(face, eyes, jaw, skull) and right forearm. Am now working on the neck. I have not received any of my servos yet(backordered) so movement is still a ways off. I am using a Makerbot Replicator 2 to print this in PLA. I am located in Pennsylvania (South Central), USA.…En afficher davantage
Great! another InMoov robot to be born. Did you put yourself on the builders map? Let us see your pics.
InMoov is going to school, I\’ve been asked by my brother ( a school teacher) to show InMoov and 3D printing to his year 11 students this week.
Torso printed and assembled 🙂 whoo hoo 🙂 next is kinect support 🙂
Whoo oo, soon the head is going to be mounted!!
Alessandro is very fast builder ! good !
Whaoo Nice job
My inmoov have a pet.
hahahah … very good !
sensational! Very friendly, 🙂
just found this video
Very good! I think, from what I can see, it was huge for a mini MakerFaire, It seems like there things to see everywhere. From what I have read on the net it was a great success.
hi, all just got back home from the sydney mini maker faire, i took this video just before packing up.
Wow! Great job! The glowing light on the chest is cool, and I like the fact you amplified it’s voice for people to hear what he says. During my shows, I always have a headphone and nobody knows how InMoov talks. Have you been able to do voice commands also? I can see someone on the left corner with the InMoov T-shirt 🙂
I hope you really enjoyed yourself during this event.
hi Gael, i was using voice commands to triger the speeches and other gestures, it was a fun day even thought i only go about 20min to have a look around.
the person in the video is my farther inlaw, looking after my 3d printer and explaning how they work to people.
