They are beginners to mechatronics and they used various resources they found online and followed the best they could. This is a heavy lift project for them with only 5 weeks to build in shared academic spaces.

These are some outputs from art UGs who are beginners with mechatronics. Thought the range was pretty cool. I’m looking forward to teaching it again and I am updating to esp-32 boards and looking to have them do fun art stuff in the next iteration with them.
Pretty cool color display. Some have set rubber bands in odd places? Do you know what was the reason?
I recently discovered the project and have incorporated the hand into my course on mechatronics for artists. Was surprised by the diversity in the builds and proud my students were able to get them built and working in 5 weeks.
