Yep sorry for this, maryjose account is now closed and content related to it destroyed.

I’m about to quit! MRL is not running on my PC. No instalation works. I’ve already tried so much, but nothing helped. I have the latest version of MRL, the latest version of java, original ArduinoMega, new cables, all on WIN10. I’m really desperate. I have printed out almost the entire robot, but get no servo to run. What else should I do?
PS:…[Read more]
I would suggest you head over to myrobotlab.org and ask the guys there. They can absolutely help you with your troubles. Another option would be if we would do remote connection tohelp you. If you want i could help you with that and get your mrl up and running in no time. I am sure the mrl works, i installed it just yesterday on a raspi and a…[Read more]
Double check you have the correct version of java for your pc, also did you create mrl folder on root C: ? when you first start mrl did it pop up with screen and show it is starting?
I agree, put the unzipped map of mrl in C:mrl and not any way different. check with cmd: java -version and if that is the right one you must adapt the config files in the inmoov folder to your needs, e.g.:head -true or false, left arm-true or false , right arm -true or false, pir and so on. Next do start_inmoov.bat when finished and you hear a…[Read more]

in which section battery fitting is shown
If you have questions, please ask them in the forum/google group. But you really should look a bit closer to the build yours section. All the questions you ask here are pretty easy to find in the tutorial section.
is there any mechanism fitted in head because in head section only assembled parts are given no hardware is shown
yes, But i dont know where you look, but if you look under tutorials you will see the sub section HEAD, there is all info needed on the head. But you will have to do your research.
hello gael you have written 2 arduino 1 mega and 1 uno but it seems you have use more than that 2 is for both hand 1 for neopixel
A part if building an inmoov is learning to think DIY, to do your research and to read everything there is on a website before beginning.
i want to ask in which languages codes are written for servo and all like java, python
python is the programming language for the MyRobotLab framework.
hello what is the thing which make inmoov voice controlled and how to connect kinnect xbox
That is the software called MyRobotLab. http://www.myrobotlab.org
hello gael i m a student of class 9 from bihar patna i want to ask in which language programming of inmoov is done and also i m using mg995 servo motor in place of hk15298b for fingers and im using hk15338 in place for hs805bb shoulder and arms section so is there any change in programming and also in the hardware section for biceps shoulder…[Read more]
The software that is used in the inmoov is called myrobotlab. It can be downloaded here under the tab build yours, how to start myrobotlab. For more info on the software you can go to http://www.myrobotlab.org and there you can find more info on the software. For the servos, just read through the bicep tutorial, it also applies to the hk15338. Also check…[Read more]

Anyone know where I can get the servo board? I\’ve completed the right forearm and hand and I\’d like to wire it up and give it a try!
Begin september
Is that to say that Neuro boards will be available again in Sept?
hello gael nice project inmoov i like it i m too working on this project but i have a problem can you tell me that this 3d printer volume is alright or not this is the printer i selected Creality Ender 3
It has a build platform of 220x220x250 so that is sufficient for the inmoov project. There are some big parts in the leg section, but you can always cut them in half in slic3r and print them in 2 pieces and glue them afterwards. Thats what i did an i have a 300x300x300 printbed.
Working on making pdf’s to download and check the files you already printed. Going to make them the same as in the build yours category. This example is from the bicep. Others will follow in a short while.
That is a very good ider, nice work Wilco Van Toorn 😉 hmm… there is something about your name 🙂

Can someone point me in the direction of a complete hardware list? I\’d really like to have a spreadsheet with not only a list of the printed parts, but the electronics and hardware (nuts and bolts, etc) needed.
Thanks!
Default Hardware Map + BOM
The nuts and bolts isnt by numbers, its mostly whats available in hardware stores near you , and also most holes in the inmoov are 3mm, but again its what you can find. 3.5 will work also, the us system i dont know, but you can convert them quite easily. if needed just redrill the holes a bit bigger. most…[Read more]
Thanks Wilco! I live in the US, but I’m fortunate enough to have an ACE Hardware store nearby that sells metric hardware. I think knowing that most of the holes are 3mm helps as then I just need to find the correct length that will work.
Now, if only there were a way to speed up the print times… I’ve got the right hand and forearm almost…[Read more]
Your welcome Timothy, and trust me i know the feeling. Printing alwayas takes too much time, get ready for the legs, they are pretty awesome to print…. most times M3 x 30 will work, some have to be shorter, M3 x 10 and M3 x 20 but with the M3 x 30 you will have most luck. And beware that the heads of the screws need to be taper, like in the…[Read more]

Hello from Boulder! I am new to the InMoov community. I would like to share what my boyfriend and I have been working on with the InMoov robotic hand design. The glove contains flex sensors which move the finger motors to actuate the hand, mimicking my finger movements.

I am experimenting with how acetone vapor smooths the surface of ABS filament. This boat benchy was place in a vapor bath for 30 minutes. I plan on doing this with my Inmoov.
I know, done it myself but given up because: – acetone is bad for your health – try using pla instead of abs, much easier and less stinky!
Awesome Finish,,, My Only warning is that Pressurized Vapor is actually about 1/8 to a 1/2 stick of TNT,,,, 2Tbps of Petrol Pressurized and Vapor is about 1/2 a stick,,, Acetone Can be just as dangerous So be Careful Dude,,,, they don’t normal tell you that in the Instruction Book,,,,,,, once again Awesome finish
Holly Sh++,
Thanks Mindless. I didn’t know that but I will keep in mind. I don’t keep it under pressure when I smooth ABS in the vapor. I also make my own rocket fuel using confectioners sugar and potassium nitrate. Guess who is going to put a little acetone in with the mix……. (This GUY). If I blow my hand off I’ll let you know!
Hell juerg,
I use 3D Solutech ABS filament and it doesn’t smell any different than the PLA. You might want to give it a try. I have used over 30 spools of this brand with 2 bad spools which the company replaced.
Thank you for your c…[Read more]

Hi, Can use PLA instead of ABS to print Inmoov?
You can use whatever filament you want, just remember to calibrate your printer perfectly, if you do, no sanding and filing needed on any part.
