2 out of 3 Raspberry Pi 3’s installed in the head.
That’s alot of pi! Is fitting a third in there possible? Looks great though, very clean setup in that limited space.
It is possible to fit the third one and then i still have to work out how I want to split the processing load across them. As Gael said somewhere on this site, the RPi even the Model 3 still is not quite powerful enough, but they are cheap enough to add multiple so speed up processing, paralleled processing if you will…
You could put one PI in the body to connect to the Kinect or just give him a gut feeling. Nice HAT on the PI.
The HAT on the PI is the Adafruit 16 Channel servo driver. Also breaks out the Pi Header and is where I grabbed the 5V from to run the other Pi.

Hey anyone from india.. Wanted to know the cost of the hand and forearm to be printed.
assuming you own or have access to a 3d printer material costs depend to a good part on your printing skills. After a few years of printing I still have around 30% failures in printing parts. You will need about 4kg of material for the « good » parts. This however is only a fraction of the total costs, think of a pc, arduinos, cables or nervo…En afficher davantage

Hello all Inmoov friends, for some reason Im not able to locate the servo holder file for the throat piston. Its been a long time since I have been on here ( stroke) and I know its here I think. Boy a lot has changed in 2 years! If someone could just give me some direction it would be very helpful Thanks a lot!
If you have a look in the STL Parts Library located in the Gallery.

Hello everyone! 🙂
Hey ..! I am printing the hand and forearm and the guy who is printing said that 3 shells will mess up the dimentions and recommended me to go with one shell. what should i do?
I am totally new to 3D printing… thanks
You need the recommended 3 shells for strength. Running with 1 shell will reduce the filament usage and reduce the print time. If the guy said the dimension will be messed up, then he doesn’t have his slicer program setup correctly. Most likely over extruding.
My printing guy said that the cost will be doubled if i go with 3 shells. I want to know if i will be able to make the hand grip something with 1 shell. P.s. I am a student so i just want to make the hand for demonstration.
Sounds like you need a new printing guy. 3 shells are necessary for strength. I did not even know you could print with one shell. Look around for someone better.
