Any suggestion for standing pole ? I need one 🙂
Gerard Espona posted an update 4 years, 2 months ago
Some good progress with shoulder 🙂
Can I suggest the static legs? They look good and lets your bot stand on it own two legs:-)

thanks.
I will share more when receive it
I picked depth camera OAK-D

Hey Community ! 🙂 I will start to work soon on the head / eyes and have some fun with computer vision tasks. Like track and touch objects.
I was looking for Kinect or similar to get depth and camera info.
Azure Kinect DK looks good but decided first to try RealSense D435.
In the meantime I discovered this project and it looks promising and…[Read more]
Yes, it looks good. I look forward to your success, and will hope to reiterate it 🙂 good luck
Which model did you order?

Thx ! Yes very happy with the result and when it\’s time to build the legs if starts to run it\’s easy to find 🙂
Some tests with new reprinted shoulder. After countless issues feeling near there 🙂

I like the Orange White combination, should be easy to find in a crowd 🙂

Hi. For me it\’s working fine. I\’m just connecting neopixel +v, ground and input to Arduino and starting Arduino and neopixel service on MRL. I\’m able to control neopixel from MRL … changing animations and so on.
Thx ! 🙂

Hey ! sharing some progress after joining stomach and torso.
Fantastic! This is turning out great!

I just worked on the neopixel ring and works fine for me
Have you had any luck with this? I was having a similar issue. I wasn’t sure if it was hardware, wiring or software. I ended up removing the signal resistor and using Arduino IDE. I was able to run example animations on all pixels just fine thereafter. Still no luck though in MRL.

Good work. Totally agree on the black background, make it looks better.
Result looks great ! like the idea of 3d printing pen. Also useful for finger joints.
That’s an interesting approach.
It is also quite a useful tool for repairing damaged prints avoiding reprinting the entire part. Saves printer time and material!
Nice video as usual ! Thx for sharing. I\’m curious .. which material and printer (speed) are you using? (general question). I\’m using PLA and anycubic mega s (100mm/s)
I’m using PLA and my printer is a Creality CR10. I’m not sure about the speed I would have to check.

Very cool ! Congrats !
You are so kind. Thank you very much! What a fantastic project!
Great video. I like it to see when people make their own python gestures.

Would be great if you can share some pictures about
Nice ! I just passed my first test using external battery power and nervo board. Next step is finish the servo setup for the arm. For now I\’m using the recommendation but let\’s see if it\’s difficult to extract the potentiometer. Will share video soon ! 🙂
Good luck 🙂 If you need I can post some pictures about how to modify the servo.
Nice video !
Hi Steve,
Yes was funny to see hand start to move doing some gestures and now I can\’t wait to see full arm and soon the head. I will share video for sure.

Hi community 🙂 quick update on my progress. Time to work on the nervo board, really close to do my first test powering with external battery 6V 12A … hope not going to burn it 🙂
It’s fun when you see your own robot start to move. Almost like it’s coming to life for the first time. Be sure to share some video once you’ve made some more progress.

Thx Michael Hayward ! Yes feeling doing good progress and happy to see you all like the look&feel. I will post more photos as I do some progress on album. Can\’t wait to see fully finished and working and apply some AI to perform some tasks 🙂
Thx Michael !

Hi, after some printing time 🙂 Good progress on bicep assembly .. soon full arm working attached to torso 🙂
I like that white and orange combination. Looks clean.
Well done Gerard, it looks as if you are advancing well, I agree with Michael Wharton the colour combination works very well.

I was showing my progress in small local event to introduce 3D printing and innovation technologies to general public and everyone was mind blowed 🙂
Thx Gael! Now I\’m building the bicep and the short term goal is to have full arm working then work in the head 🙂 Can\’t wait to have full inmoov working to explore reinforcement learning apply to real tasks 😉
Thx Gael ! 🙂
Impresionante trabajo Marcos 🙂 Parece que había bastante publico y expectación para ver a Aristóteles 🙂
Thx Maurizio !

Hey, after quiet intense summer, some good progress. Functional arm and head/torso printed.
really nice!
Nice color choice. The Netherlanders will like it. 🙂

almost finished to print hand and forearm 🙂 Goal for this summer to print and build torso and head too 🙂
Welcome back and have a good summer print. Make sure parts fit together before printing everything. Specially the torso parts.
some printing with anycubic 🙂
Some of the old initial tests with the finger starter kit
Back seriously to this great project ! Bought Anycubic Mega-S .. for now printing on PLA .. soon some photos 🙂
Welcome back Gerard, have a great summer printing and InMooving
