    I am having an issue with the Speech in MRL. MRL seems to respond just fine for the first couple of minutes but then does not respond at all and I have to restart mrl.     • Hi. Which version of MRL are you running. I am not sure if it is the same on older versions but, on the latest version the mic turns of of a few minutes without speech ( to reduce false commands I presume) you have to click on the mic icon then speak. Hope that helps. Warren

    • Starting with MRL_Nixie, the WebKitSpeechRecognition allows for a wake work that can be used to restart the Speech Recognition.
      That would be a feature in Inmoov2.
      Wake words are not supported in the Manticore version.

    Hi. Its been a long absence because of covid. I’m back and will continue.
    I have to reprint one of the pistonanticlock screws that go into the arm because the old one was angled a little. Then I plan to connect a Pi to the head and replace both arduinos with something that can handle multithreading. What about you?

    • I’m re-building the upper torso and shoulders.
      My old printer was not well calibrated and I had a lot of dimensional inaccuracies.
      With my newer printer, it’s now accurate, and since the stand for Fred’s new head is not that good, I’m using the upper torso as a stand 🙂

    • Still working on the modified head, Last week I mounted the Raspberry Pi in the head, Friday I release the video on mounting the SMPS for the pi and connecting it to the PCA9685, the week after that is testing and some very basic programming.
      Then i start the walking robot series I hope.
      Where i plan to motorize the legs, this will not be an easy task.

    I am using 5K ohm potentiometers and am thinking about changing it to 10K because the 5K is too sensitive for the Bicep Servo.

    I power the NervoBoard with a Power Supply that is at 6V Constant. I’m not sure what was the root cause but I was able to replace it with an HS485B with no problem.

    I figured it out. The MG 996R Servo was placed backwards and got hot and now theres a short across the motor inside the servo. Easy fix is to replace the motor.

    I ran an example servo script that comes in Arduino Software to test the wrist servo and it works fine but when I use the NervoBoard to control the Wrist, it seems to not have enough power or maybe the impedance is not tuned correctly. I have the MRL Servo test sweeping from 0 to 180 and the wrist moves but just a tiny bit. Anyone experience this problem?

      Do you have a voltmeter to check if you have the correct voltage coming to the servo?

    Thanks, we started in January working on Guile every Sunday for 5 hours. 52*5hours = 260 hours of building time. This time does not include 3D printing time.

    I’m trying to confirm the connections for the Finger Sensors and see that pins (14, 12, 10 & 8) are connected to ground and pins (6, 4 & 2) are connected to 5V.
