      Fantastic Dimitris!
I like the picture of InMoov in the speed car. So now you have two InMoov build up, that is great work.

Thank you Gael! It was a great weekend and we enjoy it!
Now i make a try with my new raspberry and Mrl but i want to find a way to remotely control the raspberry from a android tablet.
Do you know anything about it?

      Hello Dimitris,
I would go for a VPN control. It will work a bit like TeamViewer.

Finally you gave me work for days! I bought the new raspberry pi 3 with vnc already installed , but there is a bug. When i enable the vnc from config to have vnc at the startup ( i want to work from my tablet only) it does not run. Two days im trying to find a solution with no luck. today i did a contact with vnc support and they told me that is a…[Read more]

Love your InMoov base however looks to be rather expensive to buy or build one?

I realized that the Lenovo Thinkpads were no longer possible to buy new in any Swedish stores. Thanks to eBay I managed to get one from Germany though. After almost bricking it by upgrading to Windows 10 in a nonstandard way, I have not got it working. It\’s time to download MyRobotLab and start printing out the new back parts! 🙂

Hmm, I meant I have *now* got it working. 🙂

Great! For sure bricking the tablet would be a waist…
I haven’t tried to upgrade my 2 tablets but since it is working fine under Windows 8, I don’t want to take the risk to brick them.

If you should ever try, and get stuck, I could probably help you out. 🙂 After my adventure with the almost bricked computer, I’m now an expert on the Lenovo Thinkpad 8. I contacted both Lenovo’s local repair agent, and Lenovo’s official technical support when I couldn’t make the computer respond, but none of them could help, interestingly enough.…[Read more]

Very interesting Markus, I’m surprised how well the mini joysticks + remote are reliable to control the arms and hands.

I have started to replace broken HS805BB with bluebird BMS L530MG (hobbyking). I have one for my bicep and another one for the neck. The bicep initially worked fine until the horn adapter started to slip (the lower arm is a heavy bugger). I recommend therefore metal servo horns with the bluebird servo. You need to order them separately.…[Read more]

I just visited the InMoov website for the first time this summer, and realized that Gael had actually updated quite a few things. Nice! 🙂 Naturally, I restarted my dormant InMoov project and celebrated by mounting him to his very own chair base.

brilliant, i knew i was hanging on to that broken chair base for some reason. Now i know what it is!

Nice to see that you have come that far with the build. I was a bit worried about the 3D printer fire.

Ah, you remember that. 🙂 I actually got another printer just like the one that was damaged, and then I took a chance and sent the broken one for repair. Amazingly enough it was totally repairable, so now I have two Flashforge Dreamers working for me. 🙂

I use the same chair technique on mine. I welded a section of pipe to it to bring him up to normal level. Slides right into Gaels mount.

Yes, I remember seeing that a long time ago. 🙂 I will probably let my InMoov keep its chair base until the legs are finished. But no pressure Gael, please take your time. There are many other things that need to be done first. 🙂
