This is my first time posting. I just wanted to let you guys know that there’s a new InMoov coming! Woohoo! Sorry for the poor picture, I was using my phone. I’m painting the finger covers now with a glossy white, but I can’t decide what color scheme I should go with for the rest of the robot.

Cool,,, personally I like Mr Gael White and black version,,, kind of a Walt Disney version of a Stormtrooper,, I’m currently putting Inmoov together in SketchUp For R&D and stuff ,,but one version of him will be for picking out and applying different colour schemes to all the major parts so you able to see what he looks likes before printing or b…En afficher davantage

Sounds cool! I like the idea of a color chooser! I also like the idea of black and white, I just couldn’t choose on where to put the black. I’m thinking I want to make him look like Sonny from I, Robot :). I like the glossy, futuristic look. Amazing what’s happening here, can’t wait to start helping out myself!

I am trying to find out if many people are using Gael\’s finger tip sensors on their InMoov\’s. Is there really any benefits of having the sensors on the finger tips.

Depends on if your happy with fingers that can move buts that all they can do,,, the sensors allow the fingers to realise when the have touch an object and stop the servos from moving any further,, this allows Inmoov to pick up objects that have different sizes/shapes,,- now this all done with the software,,, so this is where the guys over at…En afficher davantage

Just Uploaded the Modded Elbow Joint to Thingiverse- (two types)
Servo Tray and Tension bed will be online in a couple of hours- just panel beating work on the servo tray and tension bed- prints clean and joins together in one piece not two– extra screw/bolt holes- and there is a 2piece version too..
