      do not give up – some additional parts to add! The stand looks like being able to support a complete InMoov. And be careful with fire – or is it not a flame?

      Google bots crawl the web looking for pictures to auto index. It will eventually show up. Try doing a Google search on inmoov and include your name.

        I have looked at your build several times. And really like the top of the head painted black, it give Inmoov a distinctive look. Nice build Akash.

      Mindless replied 6 years, 3 months ago

      Nope,,,, HS-805BB are the cheapest out there for their size,,, prices are all over the place with servos-,, have a look at quite a few web-shops before buying- you should be paying around $35usd for them- but check out the “postage cost” before buying ,,,

        Perry replied 6 years, 3 months ago

        I use the HK15338. They are the same size and cost $15 USD. Available in the US too.

          That”s a good price,,, they work alright,,?

            Everything is a tradeoff. They are basically clones and can be modified in the same way as the 805’s.
            A little less torque, a little less speed but definitely usable. I have been happy with them.

        Cool,,, I’ll get a couple of them for testing,,, at that price i can fry/destroy them without worrying about it,,,, going to use these in the end (see link) ,, providing i don’t find a problem with them- there a Australian clone of the Savox ,,,, but beefed up,,, not down,,,, bit pricey ,,, but the torque is good, and got the 7.2v option too…[Read more]

      for the large servos I strongly recommend using heat-up fuses so it stops the current before burning up the servo. I anyway had expected that these servos would come with overload protection but the manufacturers seem to like them burning out …

    hey Gael,i am also making inmoov as you have seen my previous video of figure starter so now i know arduino,C++ very well so i want to know which language i should to get better confidence on inmoov should i learn Python or Java ??

    • Profile picture of Mats Önnerby
      Mats Önnerby replied 6 years, 5 months ago

      If you will use MyRobotLab, then Python is good, so that you can use the services that already exists. If you want to develop new or change services, you need to learn Java. So my advice is start with Python, then move on to Java. Both Java and C++ are object oriented languages. Since you already know C++ you have a very good start.

      Great video Akash, I can see that you did great progress learning how to use MyRobotLab! Isn’t it great to be able to voice control the finger? Of course it means you can voice control all kinds of devices with MRL through the Arduino. Check the various services, like camera, tracking, I ‘m sure you will find all kinds of projects to do!

        I have sent 8 times Nervo boards to India. Five of those orders were dual Nervo Boards with components, so I suspect 5 other InMoov getting built in India.

      Hi akash,
      Why do you try to use such an old version of MyRobotLab? OpenCV is missing something in that old version.

      You need to correctly specify the path in the script:
      gesturesPath = “C:\Myrobotlab\ProgramAB bots\gestures”

      aimlPath = “C:/Myrobotlab/myrobotlab.1.0.1412/develop/ProgramAB”

      Hi,
      The Finger Starter is the index of the hand. If you are going to print and assemble the complete hand, you can re-use the index, but personally I like to keep the Finger Starter as a tester. Of course you can also re-use the servo motor and the Arduino Uno board. Though if you are planning to built the complete robot, you will need two Arduino…[Read more]
