    Downloading Inmoov files
    When you click on download all files , it download all file but they are not the same version as listed under parts

      Yes Gael has mentioned before that he needs to go through and update the zip files. For now download each file individually, as they are usually the latest ones.

    Gael, the reason am asking how tall Inmoov is so I build a new mobile base, my first Inmoov was 6 feet tall. Is it ok to make the over all leight 5.4 feet?

    Just sharing my led finger tip sensors. I plan to use an IR sensor in the hand to detect objects.

      you might have better sources for IR sensors – my own experiments and results are rather poor. Another issue might be integrating the sensors result into the control loop.     I am trying to find out if many people are using Gael\’s finger tip sensors on their InMoov\’s. Is there really any benefits of having the sensors on the finger tips.

      Depends on if your happy with fingers that can move buts that all they can do,,, the sensors allow the fingers to realise when the have touch an object and stop the servos from moving any further,, this allows Inmoov to pick up objects that have different sizes/shapes,,- now this all done with the software,,, so this is where the guys over at…[Read more]

      Ahaha, one has a too big head and the other a very tiny. I see the caps came alright. What do you think about the quality? It was difficult to find a good supplier which could do embroidery at a reasonable cost on a quality cap.

    Hi Amby, thanks. The eyes I got from a site years ago, they are animatronic eyes. Here is one site, but if you google search you could find them cheaper.

      Hey cool ! Good job!!
      I have been working on a small version as well and was planning to post the modified STL rather soon actually on the site. I printed only the torso and the right arm until now., but haven’t tested the actuation.
      The eyes are nice indeed!

    Finger Tip Sensors. Hi Gael, do you have any information on how to connect the sensors and or wiring besides the Assembly hand guild? I am not sure on what control board to uses.

      The sensors are connected to the Nervo shield board. The best is to add some resistances for each sensor connection.

    Some countries can not view this video, because Youtube says it is a copy right issue, I own the CD. They keep removing the video.

      It is not because you bought the CD, that you can use it as a soundtrack for your video. Which is a delicate combination on your video.
      By the way, it is interesting what you did with the EZ leds in the chest.

    Hello all, I finely finished my Inmoov, I am waiting on a new board to get his head working and also printing right now his new neck, which is shorter for his head. Here is a video of his moves so far.

    Hi Gael, Yes. I finely got the Potentiometers set correctly. I am finishing the chest prices and still pondering if I want to use the sensors on the fingers. By next weekend I should have movement using scripts.

      Big: CYS model S8218 digital servo from china. Torque 40kg/cm.
      Small: XQ-S4020D. Torque about 20kg/cm.

    Hello,

    I noticed the Robcap for left and right are the same. Am I missing something? If I use the left it puts the elbowgear inside the forearm Inmoov, the right is on the outside of the forearm.

      no, all parts are printed in white abs. i only paint the eyes with a blue permanent marker.

      The two large holes were used, during my designing to check if the shoulder was correctly placed when returning after a lift up.

    Here are some pictures of what I have printed in the past month or so. I am starting to just fit the Torso to see what parts I am missing. The right and left hands are printed. The left shoulder is also printed. I will start putting the hands and biceps together next week once I have all my servos and hardware.
