Airwin InMoov driven with a wireless PS2 gamepad
I like your drive system. Can you share some details about the components you used to build it – motors, servos?
Thank you Bob, this InMoov plateform is widely inspired from the one Gael made. My components are coming from old broken stuff to make it low cost as it is a temporary solution waiting for legs :-).
The arduino uno that manage the inmoov neopixel ring is now also used to read commands coming from a wireless PS2 Gamepad ( thanks to Bill Porter…En afficher davantage

Awesome, now we can go racing!! Thanks for all the links. Nice work! It is amazing what you do with cardboard ! Can you share some information about the motors you used?
Amby the King of Cardboard! As I commented on your post on MyRobotLab, you could make Thingy on Thingiverse with the DXF and all informations of the motors, wheels and sources. Some builders could reproduce it in PVC or plexiglas.

Great Ronald! It is very wise, as you say, to see if everything fits before printing more parts. Thanks for posting.

Tody I have finished the assembly between the « top Stomac » and the « middle stomac ». The torso is also finished.
Hey cool, you are also printing the Mid and Low Stomach parts! I hope the tutorial is explicit enough, specially about the servo connections. You have assembled the Nervo Board, are you happy with it?
Hello Gael. Thanks for compliment. The nervo Not Yet but the circuit and diagram look fine. For the servos no problem to understand, but for the shoulder, the servo system doesn’t work fine. The contact between the worm and the gear is too hard for the servo. I’ll try to print again with 0.9 resolution….

Hello Richard, There isn’t much info on that, most information you will find are directly on the Thingiverse. I haven’t seen many hands printed with the extra DOF for the thumb. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:28124 Hopefully, somebody will come here to help you on that here.
Hi Gael Thank you for your help, I will look at the link and decide what way to go .

Hello Mustafa, The InMoov hand version1 is rather light, but the servos are set in the forarm which is not always usefull for prosthetic purpose. Depending on the material you will use to print the fingers it can add resistance. Carbon 3D printing is the strongest I have seen for now regarding weight and strength. A demo of the stomach rotation
Hi Bob
Very cool movements .
As you have done to make the system of wrist motion up and down ?
Ah cool! Finaly you can post videos again! I see you replaced one hand with the Flexi hand?
Nice video, Bob! I see the wrist also has a movement linkage. You might want to share your work with Juerg, as he is also working on something similar.
Yes, I hacked a flexihand and put the servos for the fingers in the palm of the hand and added a servo for the additional wrist movement. I have also just finished adding flexible joints to the original InMoov hand and it works pretty good and can hold objects fairly well. I posted a couple of videos on Youtube about the flexihand.
RIght, you take a new route with servos inside the hand – very nice! My bending wrist uses another servo in the forearm and a few modifications on the existing wrist and hand parts – and it integrates a position sensor to allow the hand to stay horizontal. I am waiting for some cabling stuff as I want to have the forearm pluggable to the elbow.…En afficher davantage
Looks great! The flexihand seems better controlled – is that due to a design improvement in the parts or just better tuning during installation? PS I think we should chip in to buy you some switchplate covers so you can program your bot to install them 🙂

The other parts are not released because I’m working on them. I released the finger to help prosthetic projects as long at is not for a commercial purpose.

Hey Rodolfo. I know you replied to Gael, but I just wanted to say that the HK1529B has equal (and in some cases, better) specs than the HS-322HD. It should work fine. That being said, I haven’t personally tested them, so I can’t attest to the quality of servo.

Hey cool!! Now adding some tendons and some motors will be the next step! PS: When you assemble the hand with tendons, it needs to be mounted on the other side of the rotational wrist. Robyn Inmoov (skin) sensor moving the arms
Well Markus, this works very nice. I can see how effective this works, and the sensors seem to be working well. I guess you could also use it to create gestures, if both arms were not coupled, using « capture gesture » voice command.
Yes i have both sensors working now thanks to Greg and they move separately. and it is very easy to create gestures. there are so many possibilities for example interaction with people. my experience is that many people want to touch and feel with their hands and now Robyn will respond to that.
