Hello, Just to share with you the very first wheel spin of Airwin this night. I hope the small motor coming from an old electric Kids Toy will not soon burn.
Ehi!!! There is something of a Déjà Vu. Using a golf caddie is a very good option! Is it sturdy enough? I am pretty sure your motors will do the job, InMoov is a light fellow!
Gaël, yes it’s widely inspired from what you do 🙂 . (i first write Wildly Inspired 🙂 Sure « light is right » This Golf caddie is in aluminium so it is really sturdy, don’t know how many clubs it can support but one InMoov seems ok.
Hey cool! We should make a new link in the « Build Yours » for the 3D printed wheel system. I have almost all the parts designed and ready to upload.
Looks great nice work!
Thank you.
Oh yes, wonderfull a full 3D printed wheel !!! better than looking for old golf caddie :-).
Nice looking base. How does it work? Do you have a video of it moving around?
Hi Bob, i just post a small video

hello friends, i need some help i printed right hand connected through inmoov board to meg2560 and trying to operate with myrobot lab, i didn\’t fide voice control code for right hand.
Hi. Yo can find some basic scripts to get started with the hand and voice control here: http://myrobotlab.org/service/inmoov You will need to make some modifications to the code so that it fits your setup, like the port fort the Arduino, what pins you use on the Arduino and limits for the different fingers,
thank you very much for your prompt response..and help
You also can find the InMoov basic scripts on the bottom of the « Build yours » page. Here the link for the hand with voice control: https://github.com/MyRobotLab/pyrobotlab/blob/9eb96ed1d094b23f5bfbce843251f81d225b3e8b/toSort/InMoov2.minimal.py
first of all i thank you for inspiring us with your work and making it opensource, thank you accepting my friend request students like us need your valuable help and guidance to built it.. thank you very much sir. Gael The GREAT.

Waaaoooo release of the MidStomach parts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s been asked so many times, that even though you will have to re-print all these parts when the legs will be released, that I decided to upload those parts anyway. I also made a pretty good tutorial with it, so CHEER UP, and get your printers warmed u…En afficher davantage

Hello everyone Jerry continues to grow. Today I finished assembling the bottom, although I have not even put the servos because I arrive tomorrow.

Hey very cool pictures! I like the color scheme you have chosen. Cameras are set in the eyes already?
nice
Yes, I have put two cameras with the new mechanism you have posted, but I had to adapt a little, but seems to work well.
Did you use the Hercules cameras? or something else? I’m wondering what you had to adapt actually, maybe I need to check if something is wrong.
I used the cameras are these: V7 Vanatage – Webcam de 16 Mp (con micrófono, USB, video VGA), negro http://www.amazon.es/gp/product/B004VJ322E?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00

The summertime was not the best time to work on my inMoov robot, because of outdoor activities. But now it is getting cold and the Dutch weather is keeping me inside. It is time to moving forward again.
I ordered the Nervo Boards from the http://www.inMoov.fr website. I first ordered one set, because I wanted to see what the quality was. I was happy…En afficher davantage
Very nice and clean pictures Swan! This surely seems to be progressing well. I looked on your blog also. You seem to be happy with the Nervo board and the way they are cut with my CNC. Was the package in good shape when it arrived? I never had a complaint yet on my boards sold packages though, so it is more to have info. You are welcome to post a…En afficher davantage
Hi Swan,
Thanks for sharing your experience with the NervoBoards. I’m sure it’s easier how you did the Neck and Head plate soldering… First soldering the headers to the Neck and Head plate and after to the NervoBoard.
About the solder-bridges in the power-line… Normally it must be fine to solder them without any problems. I will see for the…En afficher davantage
@mdg_nl. The solder tends to flow to two of the three pads. Maybe when there is a little offset in one of the three solder areas it could flow better. The bigger solder areas have a 90 degree angle and are easier to solder.
@admin Thanks for the compliments. The boards where well package and survived the trip to the Netherlands easily. I have posted a review in the shop.

Hi,
Again a few weeks ago my son Wouter and I demonstrated our first attempt to drive out robot around on an OxBoard. In the mean time we’ve optimised some parts and changed the script so both servo’s are now controlled with one joystick (the left one). Script: import time

Awesome!!! This is getting serious! I have sent you an email with the part you need for the hips! I think it’s great to see how the feet are moving up and down using the same servo system than form the arm pistons. I think you will need more than one accelerometer to counter act as body equilibrium. Awesome video!

Hello ioxLab, Thanks for posting a picture of your progress. May I suggest augmenting the back sucking setting on your printer? This will avoid those small filament hair you have on the edges. Another suggestion concerning the time print you posted on your other post. There is many parts that really don’t need to be printed in high quality, which…En afficher davantage
Hi, thanks for your tipps. At the moment I am writing a list with all components and – because I am german 😉 – a plan when I want to get all the parts printed. I also figured out that I could set the the Speed on the Ultimaker 2 to 200 % without any Quality lost. So I can harvest parts faster. :))

Tried to create a self levelling hand for InMoov. I use a BNO055 for the pitch/roll recognition and a Arduino Nano for the servo control. I had to redesign the hand connector to allow for a low friction movements of the strings. I used cutted nails and distance holders for easy movement. I have also redesigned WristLarge to have bumps on the wrist…En afficher davantage
Very nice Juerg!! This looks awesome! I like the accelerometer effect shown in your video. The place where you have set your servo is a place for to set an extra servo, so I’m glad to see you did good use of that space. I see you added a piece to mount the rear part of the servo. In one of my previous design the servo was lining sideway at that…En afficher davantage

Hello Marcos,
this parts are really difficult to get!!!
I was asking Gael many times for it, but until now, he is really silent to share these parts.
Maybe you can ask him again nicely, but i think it goes faster if you design this covers yourself, then asking Gael!
You will be both happy, I just posted those parts on the site and made a full tutorial!!

OK, it looks very much like a Tech Shop in the U.S. Relative to InMoov, I would have to say that the InMoov is the most printer intensive project I have done to date. Many of the longer 4-5 hour prints I let run overnight. I think these facilities have rules about unattended machines or not allowing overnight operations, so I can’t imagine…En afficher davantage

Very Interesting, how did you manage the connections between the Lego and the InMoov parts?
I used m3 (or maybe m4) bolts, the holes in the 3D printed areas where already big enough (4 at top of skull, 2 at back of skull) and they fitted nicely with a LEGO Technic beam. I plan to build the arm next
Hello everyone from Cambre ( Spain ) . I’ve been a couple of months in this exciting project , and I have it almost printed and mounted. Soon begin with the electronics and programming . Another brother in the family Inmoov . His name is Jerry .
Fantastic look! Welcome to the family Jerry! Do you already have the hands working and 3D printed? If you need help to set MyRobotLab, let us know!

hardware and software in my mecanum wheel project
i have made some changes after this video because i needed more power to the motors but the sketch is sill basically the same
Markus, this is so great, I really love those mecanum wheels! Are you using the Joystick service of MRL? Where did you get these cool little joystick? Can they work as remote control without cable?
hello Gael ! no i am not using mrl on the arduino i want to be able move around without the need of the computer so i am working on serial communication between MRL and the arduino sketch insead
yes i am planning to make it wireless
so i can drive around in (transport mode) with inmoov off and when i turn inmoov on MRL can control the wheels as well
That’s great plan! I use the remote control that Alessandro gave me during the Paris Makerfaire to ride InMoov around when I need to go someplace, but I would like to be able to use it also in MRL with voice control. At this moment if I use voice control to tell him to drive I cannot take over with remote control.
Working on it 🙂
Robyn Inmoov is practice driving .
Very cool, Markus! How do you have the controls arranged? For instance, how do you distinguish between « turn right » and « go sideways to the right »?
Woaaaahhh awesome!! Now its time to make space in the house to let InMoov ride around!!! Just incredible to think you are able to build this wheel system with a 3D printer, ahaha! I have added your Thingiverse files to the InMoov collection. This is SO inspiring!
Thanks Gael!
That looks great, Markus. I was wondering – how do you have your controls arranged to cause the 10 possible movments?
Hi all Still frustrated by the new retangular pots i though i would share a two piece design that allow the pot to be rotated. If anyone is interested i can send the solidworks and or stl file
Yes, this is a nice solution to adjust the pot position for square pot Can you share the stl files on thingiverse ? Thank’s a lot
yes no problem here is the improved version http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1124518
