Getting the shipment of servos for our InMoov was like Christmas coming early!
luky ….
Oh my!!
Is a pleasure To meet you, I have a question: Does The servo HK15298B is equivalent to Hitec 33322S HS-322HD Standard Deluxe Karbonite Gear Servo, as show it in your picture? ?????
Hey Rodolfo. I know you replied to Gael, but I just wanted to say that the HK1529B has equal (and in some cases, better) specs than the HS-322HD. It should work fine. That being said, I haven’t personally tested them, so I can’t attest to the quality of servo.
Really my question was to you Celeb. Many Thanks for your fast reply Already I’m waiting my first hk15298b servos, but here in spain is easier get the hi tec servos. But as you said the hk is better that hs, then I will continue using the hk because I’m not expert servos user to configure and hack another ones than are not in…En afficher davantage

This is my inmoov hand 😀
Interesting picture, it almost looks like an undersea algea. The red pins are very flashy!! I see you already have set the tendons. Cool. Thanks for posting!!!
I am very glad you like it 🙂 , the hand is over, but I want to know when I can buy inmoov hand V2. After seeing the video has become my dream the night to program the hand InMoov V2. it would be nice that in the new version of the hand you put the heartbeat sensor (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/11574) so it would be enough to shake hands…En afficher davantage
Oh my! now when you shake the robot, it knows if your stressed or not.. InMoov could become my doctor! InMoov: Gael, I sense your tension today, you should lay down and rest. Gael: You make me tensed because your hand is crushing mine!!

I am super excited to be working on making an imoov robot. making mine in transparent red pla and black abs. so far i got one arm printed but still have to get the electronics figured out. Im going to keep on printing after Christmas.
Hey cool!! Now adding some tendons and some motors will be the next step! PS: When you assemble the hand with tendons, it needs to be mounted on the other side of the rotational wrist. Check this image: http://www.inmoov.fr/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/DSC06254.jpg I don’t now who’s the kid, but I think he is ready to see it move!

Robyn Inmoov (skin) sensor moving the arms
Well Markus, this works very nice. I can see how effective this works, and the sensors seem to be working well. I guess you could also use it to create gestures, if both arms were not coupled, using « capture gesture » voice command.
Yes i have both sensors working now thanks to Greg and they move separately. and it is very easy to create gestures. there are so many possibilities for example interaction with people. my experience is that many people want to touch and feel with their hands and now Robyn will respond to that.

Controlling the InMoov Hand with a sensor glove. We used 4.5″ resistive strips in a voltage divider network connected to a dedicated 10-bit ADC that sends data to a Raspberry Pi. The Raspberry Pi packages the data and sends it via Wi-Fi to a second Raspberry Pi that turns the 10-bit values…En afficher davantage

Awesome and great idea! It could be used for both type of potentiometer to simplify the download process. I have added it to the Inmoov collection of course!

@Kevin, so I’m trying to figure how you proceed with the webGui, but I seem to just run into bugs. When I open the webGui I get old windows of InMoov hand that I tried a few months ago. I can’t seem to release those windows. I experimented under WindowsXP, could maybe that be the issue?
Robyn Inmoov arm sensitive driving
Nice work, Markus! I see lots of applications for these touch sensors. I have also experimented with them.
Nice works, Makus! I see lots of applications for these touch sensors, giving a robot the sense to « feel » is huge.
Amazing! Looks great, easy to imagine this in a variety of applications…
Super Great Markus!! Actually we could make just a tactile bracelet for easy driving control! That would be easier to make, because I remember you saying in a video, that it was a bit difficult to make the sensitive forarms sensors. And the videos does show the difficulties of the task. I don’t remenber, did you use i2C to save analog entries on…En afficher davantage

Hello Shaun, nice work! Do you plan on giving it a life and a little name?
Hi Gael thank you! My son has named him Rocky the robot. So far I have his neck working when testing with a simple arduino script. In process of installing jaw servo. Currently printing eye pieces and trying to get myrobotlab up and running. So far voice commands are accepting but neck servo is not connecting. Trying out some OLEDS for InMoovs eyes. they react to noise and light too!
Woooi, might be a bit scary for children!! But I see the point!! Does it blink the eyes lid? Nice finishing surface on your prints. Did you use car primer filler? Are you printing in PLA or ABS? It is what I do when I want a good finish job surface for to gunspray car paint. But it works easy on ABS, unfortunately the results aren’t very good on PLA.
Hi Gael – yes the Eyes blink, the iris gets smaller or bigger depending on the light. you are the expert!….yes printed at 100 micron, then sanded and sprayed with car primer filler. I have printed all Inmoov in ABS and all the gears and pistons in carbon fiber(very light and strong).
Thank you for sharing such a great project (which has taken…En afficher davantage
Hey we want a video of the eyes in action! Carbon fiber ABS or PLA? I have only seen carbon fiber PLA until now, but maybe it’s a new product.
Car filler primer is great for finishing on ABS. I use a polyurethane brand, the only thing I discovered, is that you really need to wait to make sure your coatings are super well dry to see if the…En afficher davantage
Hi Gael – It is a Carbon fiber reinforced ABS mix. I must say it prints very very well. it wears your nozzle out though. I had to replace my nozzle after printing a 1000 grams of the filament. still well worth the price of a nozzle. I purchased from 3DXTECH in the usa.
I will do a short demo video so you get the idea. still think I like the eyes…En afficher davantage

If I decide to go this route, a camera will be mounted inside Inmoovs forehead. the color of the eyes can also be changed, red, cats eyes etc………..

Hello, Just to share with you the very first wheel spin of Airwin this night. I hope the small motor coming from an old electric Kids Toy will not soon burn.
Ehi!!! There is something of a Déjà Vu. Using a golf caddie is a very good option! Is it sturdy enough? I am pretty sure your motors will do the job, InMoov is a light fellow!
Gaël, yes it’s widely inspired from what you do 🙂 . (i first write Wildly Inspired 🙂 Sure « light is right » This Golf caddie is in aluminium so it is really sturdy, don’t know how many clubs it can support but one InMoov seems ok.
Hey cool! We should make a new link in the « Build Yours » for the 3D printed wheel system. I have almost all the parts designed and ready to upload.
Looks great nice work!
Thank you.
Oh yes, wonderfull a full 3D printed wheel !!! better than looking for old golf caddie :-).
Nice looking base. How does it work? Do you have a video of it moving around?

hello friends, i need some help i printed right hand connected through inmoov board to meg2560 and trying to operate with myrobot lab, i didn\’t fide voice control code for right hand.
Hi. Yo can find some basic scripts to get started with the hand and voice control here: http://myrobotlab.org/service/inmoov You will need to make some modifications to the code so that it fits your setup, like the port fort the Arduino, what pins you use on the Arduino and limits for the different fingers,
thank you very much for your prompt response..and help
You also can find the InMoov basic scripts on the bottom of the « Build yours » page. Here the link for the hand with voice control: https://github.com/MyRobotLab/pyrobotlab/blob/9eb96ed1d094b23f5bfbce843251f81d225b3e8b/toSort/InMoov2.minimal.py
first of all i thank you for inspiring us with your work and making it opensource, thank you accepting my friend request students like us need your valuable help and guidance to built it.. thank you very much sir. Gael The GREAT.

Yes, I have put two cameras with the new mechanism you have posted, but I had to adapt a little, but seems to work well.

@mdg_nl. The solder tends to flow to two of the three pads. Maybe when there is a little offset in one of the three solder areas it could flow better. The bigger solder areas have a 90 degree angle and are easier to solder.
