Hello InMoovers,
I like to include the FSR (Force Sensitive Sensor) to all my finger servo’s. https://learn.adafruit.com/force-sensitive-resistor-fsr For the starter_kit I’ve re-designed some servo adapter things, to make it possible to slide the servo forwards/backwards. Next step, is the position-holder for the FSR.
To get a idea how it looks:…[Read more]
BTW, the setup will be the same like this:

First servo slider test run: tomorrow I hope to add the (to big) FSR sensor and see what it will do 🙂 (I’m still waiting for the smaller FSR’s)
hey Marten nice to see you are working on this. can’t really see from the picture how the servo will be able to move. is it mounted on the blue part? but then it would need 2 screw holes on each side in the blue part? and just realize that I do not know what servo make/type you are using.
Hi Juerg,
The servo is mounted with two screws to the blue part. the blue part has the option to slide in the light grey part. Here you will see both parts separated: https://www.dropbox.com/s/d25ghmdlwmo08mn/ServoHolder_Slider.jpg?dl=0

A moveable base and a planned escalator for Marvin. Don’t want to drive around with Marvin in scary heights.
Tried to win a bike in a foto competition but it looks like they had no robot in the jury 🙁

Hey Guys,
I’ve spent the last few weeks assembling the head and it seems to be coming along well! I do have a question about the eyes though. I did some closer inspection on the eye mechanism and I realized the eyes tend to rub on the lower part of the eye opening. I’ve tried adjusting the height of the mechanism and nothing seems to fix it. Bel…[Read more]
can’t you simply position the piece eye to nose v5 a bit higher on the nose?
That is what I had to do.
The eyes are definitely too low, either you have the EyeToNoze, set too low, or you have inverted some pieces, like the Eyesupport from left to right and vice versa. Somebody and the forum had a similar issue. https://groups.google.com/forum/#!searchin/inmoov/eye$20mecanism%7Csort:relevance/inmoov/RRsgvHhWkto/ttdoNDgdBwAJ
Great support for a smaller screen, it’s added to the InMoov derivative collection. And great progress on your built!
