My journey into the world of 3D printing has started. Everything printed so far has fitted together very nicely. Servo’s for eyes and head/neck and cameras should arrive in a couple of days. Looking forward to see inMan come alive.

Just starting my InMoov journey! Almost finished printing the forearm and will start the assembly.
This is my first time printing this extensively with ABS, does anyone have any tips for getting rid of the waviness in the walls and the infill not fully attaching to the wall? I’m using an Ultimaker 2…[Read more]
Hello ! congratulations on your progress! for the ripples is wobble, you find on thingiverse anti-wobble pads, you can also separate the top of the threaded rods of the frame, the set gives a good result. 2nd solution: it is possible to replace with trapezoidal rods without skates but you have to change the firmware. for filling I do not know too…[Read more]
thanks for the tips, ill give them a try!

This Face tracking and yolo process in the same time. Two camera, one for tracking, one for yolo.
What is YOLO and what does it do? Your face tracking is very good.
With yolo, you can do this: http://myrobotlab.org/content/yolo-dnn-support-now-opencv
For face tracking, i use tracking service from MRL
oeilG = Runtime.create(“oeilG”, “OpenCV”) oeilG.setFrameGrabberType(“org.myrobotlab.opencv.SarxosFrameGrabber”) oeilG = Runtime.start(“oeilG”, “OpenCV”) oeilG.setCameraIndex(0) tracking =…[Read more]

Hi All, any recommendations on a 3d printer to get started? Eager to get the project going….truly amazing initiative to get started! 🙂
It’s going to be dictated by how much you’re willing to spend. The requirements for the size put you into a different level than simply cheap crap but do keep in mind you get what you pay for with these. Look at your future use and know that there are a ton of parts to print..then assemble. The better the machine, the better it’ll look and the…[Read more]

Debut du projet ! Je commence par la tête 🙂
Great project Gaël!
When I showed my wife, she said wouldn’t it be nice if old people could have one to keep them company.
Just waiting for my 3D printer to arrive, can’t wait.
