Hello Dears: I wonder to know any changes happen to create Legs for Inmoov ,to make it walking. Thanks
Hello, At this stage I have gone through many iterations of the legs, you might have seen some of blogs pictures. http://inmoov.fr/legs-second-inmoov-and-other-things/ But to make it walk is still a long way to go…
The pleasure that I met with you and wish i can help the group to complete Inmoov robot.

i have completely made he finger starter so i want to ask will i use this finger setup in future with hand and forarm or not ?
Hi, The Finger Starter is the index of the hand. If you are going to print and assemble the complete hand, you can re-use the index, but personally I like to keep the Finger Starter as a tester. Of course you can also re-use the servo motor and the Arduino Uno board. Though if you are planning to built the complete robot, you will need two Arduino…En afficher davantage

Hi,
I start to build my InMoov with the head, because it is the best start where you can see a result quickly. I used the modifed head with rasperry pi 3 and arduino uno inside the head, so I have only one cable for the Batterie outside. The Problem: I´m not able to get the USB-Soundcard working with MRL. , so I have no microphone. Yesterday I…En afficher davantage
Hi. Did you set your microphone into Chrome settings? Make sure your mic is correctly selected and not set for the default. I had the similar issue, once the servo’s would be activated, it seemed Chrome was not listening anymore. It’s important the servos can generate a lot of noise. https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/desktop/index.html
By the way, if you use a Raspi3, I think the sound jack can use a jack that does also microphone, like the ear set for smartphone. This way you can test without using the USB 3.0 soundcard, because Linux can be tricky with USB devices.
Raspberry Pi Model B+ 3.5mm Audio/Video Jack
This is a tutorial for to set your Chrome microphone: https://support.discordapp.com/hc/en-us/articles/205093487-How-do-I-enable-my-mic-in-Chrome-
Hi Gael,
thank you for your fast Response!
The Sound-Jack from the Raspi 3 is for Audio/Video Output only! In Chrome under Windows the microphone is enabled and without camera/facedetect all ear.commands works without delay. When I start the ear.command « search humans » the camera starts with 15 frames/second and the eyes move correct, but it…En afficher davantage
Ups, two Arduino-Boards are connected.
Today I made a new Installation from myrobotlab_X64 on WIN10 and it works! I didn´t know why, but opencv works and with facedetect the Programm needs 67% off the CPU Power only (4×3,5GHz).
Good news, just to make sure, before restarting MRL, you need to kill all the java and javaw process in task manager. In my ZIP folder I have added a .batch file which will kill all these process for you at once. Face tracking is a CPU eater with the recent version of OpenCV. I do not know why, but with the older version of MRL, 1.0.107, OpenCV…En afficher davantage
the second positiv message, myrobotlab.1.0.1412 (32Bit) and the Raspberry Pi3 works too!. I get 5 up to 6 fps with facedetect with 65% Power of the CPU. I start the WebGui on a second PC with Microphone.
Thanks for your Time!
Great, I’m glad this is now working!

I have bought Wanhao i3 V2 printer and have started to print the hand and wrist parts. Using PLA to print with. I will add pictures soon. Built the starter finger and got that to work with myrobotlab software but no luck with voice control yet, although it chats away and hears me OK.!
Let us know how that goes, and feel free to explain your issue with the sound commands of MyRobotLab.
Hi Gael, great to talk to you. I am still printing the hand and forearm and will look at the software again later. All going well! Quick question – where is a cheap place to buy the extension springs for the hand tensioner? Can only find 20mm long not 10mm long. Also is that the spring length only or total length? all the best, Lorn…En afficher davantage
Hi lorn, I actually bought my set on ebay: http://www.ebay.fr/itm/Springs-Set-Extension-Tension-Compression-Extended-Compressed-200pc-AST23-/141720111201?hash=item20ff2d4861

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/16380394/getting-battery-capacity-windows-with-python
im using linux so dooing a script will not help u, try see this post
upower -i $(upower -e | grep BAT) | grep –color=never -E ‘state|to\ full|to\ empty|percentage’ if u do this on cmd u will get what u want but couldnt link that yet to the purpose u want, dont know if this can help
ok just uploaded my gestures, in git from pyrobotlab, go check the one called battery! enjoy
i still cant understand git very well so the correct file is in scripts/zorba/gestures/battery.py
Thanks Pedro, I added the « battery gesture », and modified my gesture .aiml as well to get it in account. But I get this error: IOError: (2, ‘No such file or directory’, ‘/sys/class/power_supply/BAT0/energy_now’) So I suspect « energy_now » is in a different directory than yours.
upower -i /org/freedesktop/UPower/devices/battery_BAT0 if u run this on cmd does it work? try use this path, or do a search for BAT0! Btw, change to linux! You will be surprise how much easy it is than windows
Thanks Pedro, linux upower software won’t work with Windows (as far as I know). I am searching on the net to use powercfg -energy and powercfg -battery.
I have been using Linux for years, it is one of the reasons I opened my design. Even though, I love Linux, there is still many things that need to be fixed for to have a simple OS working.…En afficher davantage
you are right, and is mooving to know why you choose windows, i all my life used windows but when started with linux have fall in love! I guess the script i put on git will still work if u know the correct path, can u try do search for BAT0 and see if the pc find it, if i can i will try test it n a windows laptop and see how can u configure it! Best luck

Very cool Davis! Can’t wait to see the head mounted on the torso.
im sorry for the very bad filming, maybe someone is interested in send sms from your phone just by talking to inmoov
and im sorry be in portuguese, im basically sending a test message
and using MRL myrobotlab.org
Very nice! I was wondering how to modify my aiml to read the battery level of the pc running InMoov, any idea?
That should not be very hard, just a python to read the value and execute a mouth.speach with the value in the same python. I can try check when have time! I’m also sending emails and browsing net with inmoov, and setting events on google calendar
But where should the python grab the value, that is where I am a bit stuck. Great progress with your aiml files! Did you check the aiml’s of Anthony (moz4r)? He also can load pictures on to the screen at request of the user and share data with other InMoov robots.
i have see some things of him yes! Python is a very powerfull tool and very easy to use, i will try to find what u need, my vacations ended so i dont have so much time but if i have time i will do it

Robyn Inmoov practice accuracy
Very interesting Markus, I’m surprised how well the mini joysticks + remote are reliable to control the arms and hands.
Yes it works really good ! i need to practice a lot

I have started to replace broken HS805BB with bluebird BMS L530MG (hobbyking). I have one for my bicep and another one for the neck. The bicep initially worked fine until the horn adapter started to slip (the lower arm is a heavy bugger). I recommend therefore metal servo horns with the bluebird servo. You need to order them separately.…En afficher davantage

I just visited the InMoov website for the first time this summer, and realized that Gael had actually updated quite a few things. Nice! 🙂 Naturally, I restarted my dormant InMoov project and celebrated by mounting him to his very own chair base.
brilliant, i knew i was hanging on to that broken chair base for some reason. Now i know what it is!
Exactly! Chair bases of the world, unite! You now have a purpose!
Nice to see that you have come that far with the build. I was a bit worried about the 3D printer fire.
Ah, you remember that. 🙂 I actually got another printer just like the one that was damaged, and then I took a chance and sent the broken one for repair. Amazingly enough it was totally repairable, so now I have two Flashforge Dreamers working for me. 🙂
I use the same chair technique on mine. I welded a section of pipe to it to bring him up to normal level. Slides right into Gaels mount.
🙂 The chair base brings me back to one of my old post:
Torso for InMoov on Cubehero
Yes, I remember seeing that a long time ago. 🙂 I will probably let my InMoov keep its chair base until the legs are finished. But no pressure Gael, please take your time. There are many other things that need to be done first. 🙂

Printing finished! Time to assambly my first right hand and forarm. Here we go!! 🙂
good luck with the assembly. take your time especially with the finger strings through the wrist. it requires a lot of patience or a break once in a while to get your fingers staying steady.
Thank you juerg! I’ll keep it in maind! 😉
You must have great patience. I usually am waiting for the printer to stop to put parts on one at a time. I didn’t realize how many parts there were until I saw you lay them all out.
In fact, the biggest parts are the last ones I prited. My Prusa i2 cannont build more than 7~8 cm height. So thought about building a Delta printer for bigger parts. However, in this case I couln’t wait and printed the big parts in two pieces. 🙂 I think I’ll built the Delta anyway for future parts.
Great ob and ingenuity in printing.
Fun time is about to start!!
Tokyo MAKER Fair 2016
Sorry about the blurry pictures!!
thanks for the fotos!! really nice
