I finely finished my Inmoov, I am not ready to post a video yet and need to first shorten the neck once I receive more filament to print. But here is a picture…
Thank you Gael, for your design and sharing it with the World!

bicepscover printed with enclosure on the printer
Well the enclosure makes a huge difference. That is for sure. My printer is also continuously closed, with no fan inside besides for cooling the extruder itself.
bicepscover parts prited without enclosure
i solved the problem with printing bicepcovers with a quick and dirty solution, but i will build a woodenclosure for my printer
I love when it is fully DIY , it is so much in opposition to the « SO » technical approach of a 3D printer.

Progress on my InMoov.
Great progress! I’m wondering why the arm suddenly falls down… Did you get a broken tooth on your gear shoulder?
Gael, thanks so much for the reply,
I was wondering the same thing at the time the arm fell, but if you watch the video, you will see it did a similar thing when it moved backwards and on the second try, it wouldn’t go as far forward as before.
After posting the video, I went to investigate, it didn’t take long to find the cause. I had sheared…En afficher davantage
Sorry to hear about the burned servo and broken parts. Learning can be a hard process paved with issues. For info, I hav had 12 broken PistonClavi when I was trying to understand how to mirror the right arm to the left. Between the piston rotation and speed thread of the piston, it was a serious quest for solutions. There is other servos, like the…En afficher davantage

Robyn Inmoov rewiring and easy to disassemble.
Very nice Markus! Using a wide screen is good, I have chosen a much smaller screen to be mounted on the Odroid U3 and it is a bit hard to read on it. Very interesting way of connecting the arms, I like the hdmi cables. What power supply do you use for the servos, Others might be interested about that. Thanks for this instructive video!!!
Very beautiful design. We would like the photos with comments. You come up with the usage HDMI cable very nice.

Great! have you been able to set it as default positions following the recommendations I posted recently on the tutorial? It looks like it ! One question, you haven’t printed the bicep covers, is it because you like it this way? Just to say, the bicep covers, once glued to the structure really helps reinforcing. It greatly helps avoiding…En afficher davantage

The robot has found the eyes…
Wow cool !! The big screen in the background is nice for to work. Are you using MyRobotLab to do the visual tracking?
Ip cameras « dahua » mounted in the eyes. I’m connecting to them using my software, which allows everybody to connect to a wide range of ip cameras. I plan to use them with my pattern recognition algorithms.
CYS model S8218 XQ-S4020D Did both servos fit without modifications? Some builders are having trouble ordering my recommended servos.
Big servos did’nt fit. They are a little bit less than yours. By the way russian federal television had shows your and my robots 🙂 again (http://www.ntv.ru/novosti/1261783/).

problems with rectangular potentiometer of the hs805bb+ servos solved better solution we can buy the potentiometer separately so nothing will be done in the design this is a examble for a german page where we can buy this http://www.modellsport3000.de/cosmoshop/cgi-bin/lshop.cgi?action=showdetail&artnum=3-8120 it`s the same used in the old HS805bb…
so the problem with the right hand is fixt the servo now is in the right position but the problem with the rigt sholder neutral position need a bit time, make a new holder for a rectangular pot
so first steps with myrobotlab are done, thanks to gael for his help but i have some problems with myrobotlab but i will ask at the myrobotlab page when i make changes in the scripts i have to start the program new so i save first, close the program start it again and open my file then everything its o.k. the video is my first script

The fight with myrobotlab after a few hours with installing the program and upload the sketches to the arduinos and some problems to use the headpart finally i am able to controll all funktions with the sliders i am satisfied so far now i have to learn how the rest of the program works and how i can save the settings and protect my nerves, lol
You can use the settings with a script, see the settings for the hand Here is a minimal script: https://github.com/MyRobotLab/pyrobotlab/commit/9eb96ed1d094b23f5bfbce843251f81d225b3e8b#diff-76 Here is my full script: https://github.com/MyRobotLab/pyrobotlab/commit/9eb96ed1d094b23f5bfbce843251f81d225b3e8b#diff-70
first test with an arduino sketch
i killed the jaw servo in my first test but i replaced it in this video
What servo did you use for the jaw? I have burned a few of them, MG995, MG946R, MG996R… The torque needed to action the jaw, and the movement repetition cause great stress on the servo. Bob Houston has been using a HS-311 servo since he started his built and says he never had to replace it. Might be worth trying.
the servo was a MG 946 but it was a programming error in my arduino sketch, I did not use myrobotlab got it just today installed and trying to find my way
The real beginning of my inmoov. Wrist and left hand are completed. Soon the first movements !
hey getting good! Do you have the servos already?
Yes, i have the 5 servos for the left hand and 1 more for the wrist (all have 90° rotation for the moment, i will replace the wrist servo later). The servos bed and the other parts are ready. To complet the left forearm, it still missing robpart 3V3, 2V2, 5V2 and 4V3. And I have begun to work on the firmware. (I have built the starter kit and it…En afficher davantage

very nice extra features for the Rock Paper Scissors play game. It is interesting how it seems like he really can understand what you are playing. For someone who doesn’t know, it can be very tricky.
Robyn understands me!!! this is no fake!!!! He chose rock scissors paper by random and asks me what i have. Then he understand my voice command and use variables to count the score.
Oh yes I know, I didn’t mean it was a fake. 🙂 I also use the rock paper scissors on my script, and what you have added is really interesting because of the variables counted from your answers. It’s starting to look like an Inmoov with a slight modification. I have much more to complete and start the programming. I am enjoying the building. Gae,l is they any time frame on the sale of the PCB yet?
Woo oo, big head ! I talked again with the guys from Seed and we should get it started, but I prefer not to say when because I don’t want to disapoint anyone about timing. It was supposed to be on sale for beginning september…
Did you finally understand how to use the potentiometers outside the servos or are you still struggling with that?
Hi Gael, Yes. I finely got the Potentiometers set correctly. I am finishing the chest prices and still pondering if I want to use the sensors on the fingers. By next weekend I should have movement using scripts.
Thank you for your help, and as always, keep up your excellent work!

Russian Far East News talked about the robot InMoov and Gael Langevin.
Very nice and clean wiring. What type of servos are you using?
Big: CYS model S8218 digital servo from china. Torque 40kg/cm. Small: XQ-S4020D. Torque about 20kg/cm.
Thanks for the link to the article. You do have a nice color mixture on your InMoov.

I noticed the Robcap for left and right are the same. Am I missing something? If I use the left it puts the elbowgear inside the forearm Inmoov, the right is on the outside of the forearm.
Thank you.

Good progress, I checked your assembly on the pictures, and all seems to be correctly mounted. Many people mount the neck the wrong way
