no idea, what is this good for?
-
@Juerg, I’m guessing Amby sees it for the torso and stomach displacements.
The two armonics drive must be for the shoulders. Though when you know how much an armonic drive cost, you back off a little.
@Amby, yes, it is on that U-joint principle that I had designed the stomach rotations.

amby posted a new activity comment 9 years ago
very good idea use this articulation bob
i think to use the same idea for ankle was the best-
Thanks Bob for the name “U-joint”, I couldn’t grab it on internet.
You are totally correct concerning good stomach movements for to be able to have human gait ressemblance.-
The parts for this modification are on Thingiverse.

you can see battery removable easy when it is discharge change by a new-
Nice idea with the rechargeable batteries. What kind of motors are you using?

Very nice Amby!
It seems to have good speed with those electric car motors.
I really like your battery idea,! If I wouldn’t fly the globe with my InMoov robot, I would go for your solution!
Unfortunately we may not carry batteries like that in planes. The very common 6VAh batteries can be bought almost in every country, so when I arrive in a…[Read more] -

Nice work! It is amazing what you do with cardboard ! Can you share some information about the motors you used?
-
Amby the King of Cardboard!
As I commented on your post on MyRobotLab, you could make Thingy on Thingiverse with the DXF and all informations of the motors, wheels and sources. Some builders could reproduce it in PVC or plexiglas.-

-
Hello Amby,
no i printed in 100% PLA so Acetone not helps me. I use “superglue” or “one-second glue” to fix the parts. But for the Hands i don´t need it because the finger part give in one part:
-
http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:753941
And the end of the Finger are Gaels Finger tips / tops in Silicon
