Awesome pictures! Hopefully someday maker fair will be in my neck of the woods and I’ll be able to go. I like the bottom half of your base I can’t really tell but does it go up and down and do you have any diagrams to share . I’ve been thinking similar like yours but a little different and yours might save a couple of linear actuators .…[Read more]

I have looked at your build several times. And really like the top of the head painted black, it give Inmoov a distinctive look. Nice build Akash.

I do like the colors scheme, definitely an artistic look .

Interesting color scheme you have there. I like the back of the hand is there any signification to that coloring?

Just sharing my led finger tip sensors. I plan to use an IR sensor in the hand to detect objects.
-
you might have better sources for IR sensors – my own experiments and results are rather poor. Another issue might be integrating the sensors result into the control loop. I think without an optical identification of the part you want to grab you won’t be able to gain much. Another issue is the current joint angels of your finger parts. These…[Read more]

I am trying to find out if many people are using Gael\’s finger tip sensors on their InMoov\’s. Is there really any benefits of having the sensors on the finger tips.
Thanks,
Mike-
Depends on if your happy with fingers that can move buts that all they can do,,, the sensors allow the fingers to realise when the have touch an object and stop the servos from moving any further,, this allows Inmoov to pick up objects that have different sizes/shapes,,- now this all done with the software,,, so this is where the guys over at…[Read more]

Ahaha, one has a too big head and the other a very tiny. I see the caps came alright. What do you think about the quality? It was difficult to find a good supplier which could do embroidery at a reasonable cost on a quality cap.

The eyes are nice indeed!

Finger Tip Sensors. Hi Gael, do you have any information on how to connect the sensors and or wiring besides the Assembly hand guild? I am not sure on what control board to uses.
Thank you.
Merne-
The sensors are connected to the Nervo shield board. The best is to add some resistances for each sensor connection.

Thanks Gael! I am using a RGB LED Array and bolted it inside the chest.
BTY, any time frame as to when you might have the low hips for Inmoov? I know you hear this every day, but Thank you for sharing your awesome design! -

Some countries can not view this video, because Youtube says it is a copy right issue, I own the CD. They keep removing the video.
-
It is not because you bought the CD, that you can use it as a soundtrack for your video. Which is a delicate combination on your video.
By the way, it is interesting what you did with the EZ leds in the chest.
Nice work!-

Did you finally understand how to use the potentiometers outside the servos or are you still struggling with that?

Hello,
I noticed the Robcap for left and right are the same. Am I missing something? If I use the left it puts the elbowgear inside the forearm Inmoov, the right is on the outside of the forearm.
Thank you.
