Here is a picture of the head. I am still printing the parts of the neck. I would first like to finish the head with the neck and try whether everything works with the servos and with the camera. I printed with PETG.

Hi, is it possible to obtain the STL file of the finger covers to be printed in vertical position? Thanks, Andrea.
Hello, Here you go: http://www.inmoov.fr/wp-content/uploads/stl/Other-useful-parts/coverfinger1UP.stl
Thanks, I will try to print them immediately!
Hi there I print with PETG and have had a good experience with it. The head and neck will be finished soon.
Would be great to see some pictures. Doesn’t have to be finished, actually it’s nice to see a work in progress.
Hi there I’m still trying out with which adhesive I can glue it

Hello everybody 🙂
I am a new member here and would like to find out some information. I\’m wondering what type of filament is better for this inmoov project. ABS or PLA? I also want to ask how long it takes to get all the parts printed with a single 3d printer.
Thank you in advance.
Hello and welcome, My original InMoov is printed in ABS, but there is very good PLA today that is almost as flexible as the ABS. Regarding the time to print a complete InMoov torso, arms, hands, head with a single printer is: one month and a half. That is day and night printing with no issues with your parts during printing time.

So far have the right forearm finished. Printing the Stomach and torso next before I build the shoulder and left arm.
Awesome, good idea. I’m trying to decide where to go once I finish up the last few pieces on the right forearm I’m working on
Seemed to make sense to build a structure to support the arm I built. I figure I’ll get the torso done, the right shoulder, then the head. At least then I’ll be able to play with a one armed robot while I build the last arm and shoulder.

Hello and good evening, I’m starting the servo hack on mid stomach using the HK15338. To my surprise it has metal gears and a solid metal pin as blocker. Has someone found a nice way to remove the pin? All my ideas seem a bit destructive 🙂
Looks like the same layout than the Hitec 805 bb with plastic gears. The pin should be just pressed in. Disassemble the gear and pull out the pin with a nipper. You need some force. Or use a hammer and a bolt the other way. Before you disassemble the gears, notice their position.
Thanks. I tried it with the nipper, but I was afraid to damage the gear. Finally I cut the pin with a multi-tool.

left hand fell to floor and dropped about 2 feet. I was amazed that finger all broke. PLA is very brittle apparently. Moving forward and sharing a 3D printer in a maker space. Others are joining in and it’s a slow process. Still having fun! Its a crowd pleaser for sure.

We are turning Guile ON next week. Thanks Gael.
I’m trying to confirm the connections for the Finger Sensors and see that pins (14, 12, 10 & 8) are connected to ground and pins (6, 4 & 2) are connected to 5V. For example: Each finger has two wires, say main & return, if the main wire gets connected to pin 13 in the image below and the return gets connected to pin 14… then we do the same for…En afficher davantage

Hello Gael I have now tried the IDE 1.6.8 and 1.6.10 but without success. I still get the error messages. I am definitely doing something wrong. It does not komplitiert the MRLComm.ino code. Would love to continue the project because I now have the head ready and wanted to try it out.
Hi guys Found the error. Wrongly placed the mrl folder and so the Arduino IDE could not komplitieren. Small error with great effect
The test program runs on the arduino uno without problems, only the mrlcomm.ino code does not complicate it. Completion remains with LinkedList.cpp with the line: template
If i\’m operating my InMoov servos at around 6-7volts, how many amps do I need on my power supply?
Hello, here is the link to the power supply I use when running all the servos on InMoov:
Default Hardware Map + BOM
It is a 6V50Amps, you should definitely get more than 20Amps otherwise you might brownouts your Arduinos.

thats awesome!
Super great! Welcome to Guile!
Thanks, we started in January working on Guile every Sunday for 5 hours. 52*5hours = 260 hours of building time. This time does not include 3D printing time.
Thanks Gael. We named Guile after you. We are turning him on next week.

Closing up the wrist.
Threading the tendons through the wrist.
Just finished the left shoulder. This time I used JX – Servos. They have a solid metal gear and it\’s very easy to modify them.
Nice.
Nice ! I just passed my first test using external battery power and nervo board. Next step is finish the servo setup for the arm. For now I’m using the recommendation but let’s see if it’s difficult to extract the potentiometer. Will share video soon ! 🙂
Good luck 🙂 If you need I can post some pictures about how to modify the servo.
Would be great if you can share some pictures about

Hi all, I already have a 3d printer in my possession and it is closed. I would like to mount immoov, but first I wanted to know which part I should print first (if you can pass me a link) and apart from the parts that other things would need, I mean cables, motors … With what material you recommend me to print.
Thank you all!!!
Hello, You could start with the Finger Starter and then go on with the hand. All info about materials are on the Hadware and BOM page or on the tutorial pages.

Hello,I am working on inMoov and had completed it but still i face the issue of loosening of thread going through finger, i didnt find any issue doing it first but over time of a week or two thread gets loose. Can anyone help?
Hello, did you set the springs to avoid that effect? As explained in the tutorial, the springs are meant to keep tension in the fingers when it gets loose rather than pulling at all time.
