Hi Marcia, the PIR to identify if someone is in front of your InMoov, but PIRs canhave different ranges up to 12 meters, depends on your choice if use.
Same with Kinect or Orbbec Astra (I think I will go with an Orbbec product)
On NeoPixel it is the ring but be careful on what size to get.

Hi Marcia, yes I found instructions on the web of how to remove the casing. Everyone appears to do something different. I am thinking two either 1 regular + 1 infra red or 1 telephoto and 1 wide angle

It is in one of the tutorials how to make them. It is not shop bought, from what I remember just two pieces of metal cut to size

I can not find any information about the finger pressure sensors. Could someone help me in the right direction. Where do I buy these or is this a simple coding that tells the fingers what to do after so much pressure is applied? I need some help understanding this.

Hi Marcia, I started with M3 and M4 hex bolts and nuts, then when the need arose I got other ones, M2 for eyes I think. You end up with a nice collection of various lengths.
I think the flat cable is just 14 strand with one side marked red.

I bet with ROS you should be able to benefit of already made database for neural network processing. If you want to discuss more about that, I suggest you head over to the developpers of MyRobotLab, I am sure you will have great help and clues to find together.

For the rectangular hole I sanded a tiny bit on the bits that fit in. For the rest I only took off bits that should not be there, it was a (very) tight fit.

Mark is right, the lower the layer height the better. I was able to fit stuff together with .3 layers until I got to the worm gears and piston shafts. needed to go all the way to .12 to get those to operate smoothly. always had my infill on 15% for most parts, the « load bearing » parts or parts I thought would be stressed I went up to 30% infill.…En afficher davantage

Some things I found that help; as noted the higher quality layer height the better the fit, try your finest settings (say .1) and see where you are, then increase until they don’t fit. Use PLA+ if your going to use PLA. Amazons is cheap and works great. (Premium PLA) Print just the way the file is loaded, do not re-arrange the parts. Keep trying,…En afficher davantage

Hello, yes one mega with one NervoBoard will do the job. It will be called LeftSide Arduino.
You will need to trick the pins for the RollNeck though, because normally it is attached to the right side Arduino.
You can select a different pin in the config files of head. And also select the left board to be the master for…En afficher davantage

Well, there was a long list of members waiting for approval. Checking them all today made the number of members increase in a short delay.

Yes, it requires some mods, but it works well. Microphone is not very responsive inside the head, the the video is good.

You have great timing; I was just getting ready to install my EZB Camera in the other eye, so I had the assy apart. I took some photos; keep in mind, I just did this as a quick and easy setup; if you think about it, you can do a much cleaner job than I did. Photos are in my album area
