    Hello All!
I am just getting started with InMoov (as a school project).
Apparently I ran into a Problem with the VirtualInmoov.
I followed the instuctions to setup MRL but it seems that I am not able to controll the fingers inside of the Virtual-InMoov.
Maybe one of you knows about this issue and could help me out?

      Hello,
In the version MRL 2693.7, the virtual InMoov cannot move the fingers.
I am currently reworking all the 3D files in order to have more potential for the next MRL release. Hopefully the fingers and the eyes will be operational in VinMoov.

Hello All! What is everyone (especially in US) using for power supply’s for their inMoov? All the info I can find so far is outdated links mostly from 2016.

I have my finger kit going but not enough juice for the HK15298’s I picked up. Figured I might as well figure out my power needs now. Especially since I just finished printing the…[Read more]

    Hi all,
I’ve just started the Project few days ago and I’m currently printing like I want to win a championship.
In parallel I’m also studying the updates and I have 2 Questions:
1.) I like to use 2 Arduino mega 2560 as the “brain” of the system. Is there place enough on the backside of the Torso and are there .stl-files available for the…[Read more]

      Isn’t the Prusa 250mm bed?
The only parts that need a 250mm bed so far anyway are the legs. So you have a while to go.
And I have printed in PLA all the way, as long as you have your settings right that should be strong enough anyway.

      • Profile picture of prasket
prasket replied 6 years, 11 months ago

Hi Mark – The prusa bed is 250x210x210 but that might be large enough. I thought some of the chest pieces might have needed a larger bed.

        • Profile picture of Mark Seaton
Mark Seaton replied 6 years, 11 months ago

The original design was for everything to be able to be printed on a 120mm x 120mm bed. so you will be fine. Like I said, the legs are the biggest and I still had a little room on my 250mm bed when I did the thighs.

Hi , what type of material I have to use?? PLA or ABS

    • Profile picture of prasket
prasket replied 6 years, 11 months ago

Gael uses ABS but states PLA is OK. I personally started with ABS but moved over to PLA as I could not keep the temps steady without an enclosure for ABS. I have seen lots of others with PLA as well.

My next step is to put ball bearings in the neck for a smoother movement. Replacing the battery to the pb with a more powerful 14/15 volt lipo with use of switching inverter for 6 volts for servos and 12 volts for other uses.

Well, for the past 7 days, the little old Anet A8 printer has had a lot of filament thrown at it, and so far I have a head (no electronics as yet, the electronics are taking longer to arrive than to print the parts for lol) I have just printed off the top front and most of the top back parts for torso’s, just the centre connector section to do. InMoov here I come. I ordered a creality 10S5, and it is somewhere in transit. Though while I was waiting I ordered some filament that arrive the next day. I also ordered a bunch of parts with Hobby King telling me a few where out of stock.

Now I have to make a critical decision, what will I name you?

This is taking ages on a single printer so I dusted of the Kossel mini delta printer too. Electronics so far seems pretty easy, so might build a cable loom instead of the nervo board setup.
