Oh my! All those fingers! Well you robot is already well advanced. Keep it up!
I\’ve been working on the Inmoov robot since March of last year. I haven\’t hooked up any electronics but am excited to start once I\’ve completed the arms.
Cool,,, slow and steady is a good approach for inmoov i think–,, i like taking my time with each section Printing and Re-Printing then Modding then Re-printing and Modding, then Re- Printing,,, well you get the idea– ,, Inmoov is one of them Rare Projects that keeps you excited because of the potential of what he can become–,,

No Finished Inmoov this Year but made a lot of Modded Structural Progress and Tried Many Different R&D ideas,–, Im designing with a lot of future ideas in mind — so here is a Pic of Me Instead — Since i Post Here a fair bit its Always Good to have a Real Face to a Name–,,
You are physically younger than I expected! The question now is, will you pose next to your robot or again with a bus the next time we see you? 🙂
Lol,,, next pic will be with Inmoov ,, I’m 35yo in this pic and i just turned 40 –,,, Still look the Same which is kinda weird – ,,lol

After finally adding the legs to my Inmoov I wrote a résumé about that last 3 years was putting all those parts together. In my post at steemit.com.

Cool,,, Nice write up– i enjoy reading stuff like that —
Retweeted on our feed, very nice résumé!

Awesome ,,,, I like the “Pad” at the Front,,,, wheres the menu screen so he can go make me a Cheeseburger –.. lol
thank you, yes, I like the look, it’s still to be applied.
The Pad looks pretty big,,, what size screen and OS is it running ?,,, i have been looking to buy i new one since my last one Bounced across a concrete floor,,,
it’s the 10″ touch screen of a T100 Hybrid under Windows 10 that works with TeamViever and an ASRock Processor I3 6100 motherboard on the back of inmoov.
Wow,,,,, Thanks for the info– that’s some serious hardware your running–,,
Just looked at the Pic you Uploaded,—- Very Impressive,,,,,,Very Impressive indeed ,,,
Very nice looking robot!
Thanks You Gaël, but all the credit goes to you.

Happy New Year Everyone!! Have a great time and enjoy your family, friends and robots!!
bonne année à toi Gael . et a toute la communauté d INMOOV.
Thanks Lecagnois!
Like this Damian,,,
I will work it out this today, because your drawing looks different like i done, maybe i need to mirror a part
Your right,,, i just looked at some photos of the build process and Mr Gael just turns the piece around like you have,,,, so there should be a problem,,,,
BTW, where you get so nice schematic? I was trying modify files using solidworks, but STL is not best format to edit for me
I rebuilt all of Inmoovs parts in SketchUp so i can Mod the design to my specs,,, i know what you mean about the Elbow not rotating 90degs,,,,, but dont worry about it ,,,,, it will all make sense when the arm is built
I’ve Got a Modded « ElbowGearHolder » that removes the Moment Limits for the Forearm ,,,, but the « Knock On Effect » is terrible if something goes wrong,,,
No need to mirror any parts. Build both Biceps the same. The pot and related gears will end up on the outside of the Right Bicep and on the inside of the Left Bicep. These are then attached to RobPart5 (right and left) on the forearm.
My bots arms do not extend all the way as well. I printed everything stock.

I’m bit confused now about maximum positions of ElbowShaftGear, from my point of view elbow will never go to straight position or am i wrong? i printed latest files and not sure what im doing wrong
The elbow will go straight and to 90 degress. Follow Gael’s tutorial here http://inmoov.fr/bicep/ and it will all work out good.
I gone rhru this tutorial few times and not sure about this max position, when i bend elbow is fine but when i want straight its not look like in tutorial 🙁
I might be wrong but i think you printed the wrong side of the « ElbowShaftGear » or its back to front ,,,?
Part is fine, there is only one ElbowShaftGear for both( unless i cant find for right side)
Hello Damian, you simply didn’t put the potentiometer on the correct side of the elbow, therefore you have set ElbowShaftGear upside down.

This is a“Free Spinning “ Version of the Savox Servo SV 0236MG https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2736500
nice work, that should save some $$$ on new servos 🙂
Yep,,, there so handy for testing new frames designs without having to spend a lot of money,,,, i’ve got x4 Arms in testing stages so that around $1200 if i had run real servos,, there only usefully for people like me he do a lot of Mod work on the Structural Frames –( but thought i would post them anyway)– almost got a printable gear drive and…En afficher davantage
Handy! I had made some but didn’t post them because they were not very accurate regarding the HS805bb.
i know what you mean,,, it took me a few attempts to get the dimensions correct so when they are 3D Printed the dimensions are correct–,, (that statement sounds kinda weird,,,lol)

Just getting started out, I’m really looking forward to the whole adventure of building this, I have been teasing my 17 year old son that I’m building a replacement son for when he leaves Home.
I’m just having a bit of a problem with where to fit the extra servo for the articulated thumb, I can’t find a rob part for the arm with the extra 4…En afficher davantage
Hay Simon ,,,Last time a looked at the articulated thumb by Anar it is just a manual adjuster with no Servo based movement,,,,
Thanks Mindless, it was just looking through Gael’s instructions for the forearm build, he seemed to have 4 holes in the side which you have to redrill and put the bushings from the servo in. All the files I’ve found so far don’t seem to have those 4 holes and I don’t know where to put them.
Hay your right they did get the extra Servo hooked and-up working by the looks of it,,, but i have No idea on using it,,, -I’m still a primate when comes to certain stuff,,,,, and the control mechcanizime for the fingers is one of them ,,,,, sorry dude
You have to make a choice, either you use an extra servo for thumb or you set the spring tensioner. Both are to be set at the same location. Personaly I was never thrilled about that extra thumb actuation, because the demonstration videos I had seen didn’t convince me. But regardless, you can still attach the servo, there is holes to set three…En afficher davantage
Thanks Gael, it’s great to have your personal input, this is such an incredible project. I think I’ll take your advice and stick to the original design, I wasn’t happy with the way that thumb joint printed anyway. Do you have any suggestions as to where to source the springs? I’m having a real problem trying to find any. Also, what is their o…En afficher davantage

Yes! Now we are talking about maybe InMoov walking for 2018. First InMoov step was done in 2017, but with legs that couldn’t really support the body parts.
Nice prints you have there 🙂 Which brand of filament are you using?
Currently using PLA+ by Esun –,, its tough as hell ( flexible ) and it doesn’t swell like other filaments but getting a good surface finish took a while to tune-in,,,,, great for prototyping parts never have a first layer issues on cold beds and its cheap,,,,,, this is a pic of the Screw/Bolt Together Arm — got to some more mod work the B…En afficher davantage

Hi. I needed to trim the Face Holders to allow the Ear Sides to sit on correctly. Has anyone done a mod of these to make more room, or is there a good way to edit the stls for these?
Hello John, These parts normaly don’t need refining, I checked again the models and I have a gap between the parts of about a 1mm which lets them assemble correctly. http://inmoov.fr/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Face-connection.png The piece you have doesn’t have the nut holder, so I suspect its an older…En afficher davantage
