Mindless, I have downloaded your 3D InMoov Man – nice work. Should I be able to move parts around so I can see the internal parts? The drawing loads as a « Read only » file in SketchUp. Or is the drawing just that, a drawing of the assembled parts?

  Left-click a part (to highlight it in blue), then right-click and choose Hide.

  It a complete 3d model,,, so you hide parts to see inside him- or you make changes to parts then export that part as STL (Need Plugin) and print them out-,,, if your new to 3d modelling it will take a bit of time how to work stuff out,,,- but SketchUp is one of the easiest of the 3d modelling platform-

    But you cannot work on the same file in two different widows —,, think of it as a “Master and Slave” set up,, the first time you open Inmoov man is the Master and if you open it again without closing that Inmoov the others will be loaded as slaves (read only),,,, and you cannot modify the slave ver…En afficher davantage

  Glad you like him,, had to rush the skull pieces cos I lost the original version , The next version I will release has had hundreds of hours put into him- he might look the same but he’s not,,, all the interior parts and Gearbox’s have had complete re-builds,,,plus some of the exterior parts have joined together for larger prints but not mod…En afficher davantage

Good question Perry- This is one use of a hundred mods/uses you can do with -3d Inmoov-
This mod allows the servo and gear to be positioned by just loosening and tightening the grub screw- You send the command line to the servo to adjust its position,,—,,then adjust the gear to the position you want,,, and then tighten the screw ,, I wasn’t s…En afficher davantage

About a week to go and i should have this version finished off,,, This version is for the building process,,, so i have put him together using a lot of Mr Gael original parts,, using SketchUp as the 3d software so anyone should be able to pull him apart and see how he works and it will help with the building process a lot,,, this was a way…En afficher davantage

Hello InMoovers,

I like to include the FSR (Force Sensitive Sensor) to all my finger servo’s.

For the starter_kit I’ve re-designed some servo adapter things, to make it possible to slide the servo forwards/backwards.
Next step, is the position-holder for the FSR.

    nice to see you are working on this. can’t really see from the picture how the servo will be able to move. is it mounted on the blue part? but then it would need 2 screw holes on each side in the blue part?
    and just realize that I do not know what servo make/type you are using.

      The servo is mounted with two screws to the blue part.
      the blue part has the option to slide in the light grey part.

Yep,,, Done in SketchUp-, Should have the original version of him finished in a few of days-, There will be a couple of versions of him,,, the first version will be the one using 90% Mr Gael original parts so this will be very useful for the building process,,,,,, you learn a lot more about Inmoov having a 3d model of him to…En afficher davantage
