Actually not really. The reason is that Myrobotlab software is used to control the Arduino. So you need to upload only once the MRLComm.ino to your arduino board and then you can play with the software to control the hand, by voice or manually via the graphical UI. http://inmoov.fr/inmoov2-in-nixie/

Gael, I am building the V2 hands for my build and using the JX 1109MG servos but you have not provided STL\’s for servo wheels for them. What do you recommend?

  Je ne pense pas que ce soit possible d’installer MRL sur Androïde malheureusement. MRL est compatible Windows, Mac, Linux.

      Cela dépends de votre servo moteur. Il n’y a malheureusement pas de règle car chaque servo a ses propres caractéristiques. Lorsque j’ai rédigé mes tutoriels, je pensais que tous les Hitec805BB étaient pareils, mais il s’est avéré que ce n’est pas le cas. Le mieux c’est de tester la rotation du servo juste avant l’assemblage final (ne pas engager…En afficher davantage

Hey everyone. I\’m having trouble flashing the MrlComm.ino file to my Arduino board. The error message \ »a template declaration cannot appear at block scope\ ». Does anyone know how to fix this? I\’ve tried different versions of Arduino IDEs and still no luck.

      Latest version of MRL which includes the latest of InMoov2 has now available buttons for sensor testing.

There are two ways to go.
You can use the older version of Manticore, there are instruction on this site in the Build yours menu for setting it up.
Manticore runs on Java 1.8, so you will need to install that and make sure it’s the version running.
The other option is to use the still in development Nixie version.

Hi.
Yes, you need an additional power supply for the servos. I suppose the current would fry your arduino.
I reused a 5V power adapter. I soldered a XT60 male adapter to the nervo board and a XT60 female adapter to the cable of the power.adapter: This way I am able to take away the current if my servos develop a life of their own.

USB power for the most part is limited to 2A under the USB2.0 standard.
The average servo will draw between 2 and 3 Amps each.
You will defiantly need a bigger source of power.
I suggest a 6V power supply.
If your planning on using it to power the whole of the Inmoov robot, then a 50 Amp power supply is recommended.
