Intel came out with this small compact camera that can measure distance with only one camera and an IR sensor. It could potentially replace the Kinect. https://www.pcworld.com/article/3020707/intel-to-ship-99-3d-realsense-camera-that-will-also-support-android.html

Woohoo! Made it through the first round of Sweden got Talent.
Good Job.
congratulations, I wish it had English subtitles so I could understand it though.
Is there anyone from Long Island, NY or around the island interested in building this robot?
I’m forming up a crew to build the InMoov Robot. Long Island, NY will soon have one.

Hey everyone. Im still having trouble printing my neck pistons, and they wont thread. What slicer settings are working for you guys?
I use .16 layer height. and have just made sure my printer is setup correctly. making sure there is no wobble or ringing etc. The first piston I did was the neck piston and it was terrible, I had to put some dry lube in and put it in a vice and turn it with pliers to get it to move, but after I got me printer sorted out, all the other pistons etc…En afficher davantage
Thanks, Mark… Ive already added frame stabilizers to my printer, along with some other upgrades to avoid unwanted movement. Maybe ill try printing slower, as the pistons are kinda tall, so might get more wobbly at the top.

Hi there, I would like to thank you for having this creative forum. I am interested in building the « INMOOV » robot during the year – 2019. My first plan will be as following: 1. Construct the hand, using a ready 3D printed kit that i can buy. 2. Learn from this hand the proper way to 3D print, the designs and the overall integration. 3. Put…En afficher davantage

So now we order the servos and start the electronics. Covie our robot with three students who work on the project with me.
My printer is calibrated near-perfectly (within 0.01mm) but when i print the neck pistons, they do not thread at all. What am I doing wrong? Slicer settings?
Je vous remercie, Solas
When I have printed them in the past I still had to do a bit of sanding to make it work smoothly. Also, you can just thread them by hand and it seems to eventually smooth out the rough edges that may be causing it to stick.
Thank you for the reply. I tried that without results. What were your slicer settings for the pistons? Im using an extruder width of .400 (to match my nozzle) and a layer hight of .120 (multiple of the above .4). if i print with less than 3 vertical walls, its too brittle and breaks apart easily, while it does fit.

Hello Gael ,can you add a tutorial on leg mechanisms for walking
No walking available yet, only legs for display as is suggested on legs page.

Today I made a video about assembling the bicep. I hope it\’s useful.
Do you have videos of all the parts you’ve put together thus far?? this one is great.. and to see all the parts put together… that would be even better 🙂
I only have made a video about the Eye mechanism. I am planning to do more video’s, but it’s a lot of work.

I wish there were an simple instructions going step by step. but things change so things end up being different a little here, and a little there. My question is . .I read and pick up bits here and there. and it seems I Need 2 Nervo and components one for each side.. But if I purchase 2 Nervo Boards with Components do I still need to purchase…En afficher davantage

Hi all. I have start create the robot. New construction of eye mechanism.
A little confused. This is the LeftCableHolderWristV5. I can’t see how this part is fitted. The tutorial says to glue this to the servo? but it appears to have mounting holes and what is the longer ‘tab’ for?
hi installation method: Attach one side with the servo with the screw
please see :http://inmoov.fr/new-wiring-design-for-the-hand/ good luck !

Hi all, Just starting out with this exciting project. Had a \’cheap\’ 3D printer for Christmas and have finally calibrated it and printed the hand and forearm components. Setting up the Mega2560 and getting to grips with a bit of software. Im awaiting deliver in the InMoov PCB\’s 🙂 – I\’ll post some pics as soon as I figure out how. – Paul
Good Luck Paul .. keep us updated to any issues you find that we should be aware of while building the arms. I’m just starting mine. but I started with the head 1st .. lol

Hi Karthos.. please feel free to post your findings on the servos. and which ones you are using?
Hello, I got 5 of the HS-805BB for the lower stomach, head and possibly clavi part of shoulder. I have been finding some modified sleeves online to use smaller MG996r for something possibly. I noticed some people are using them for shoulder but I am still undecided. I got the chest and back plates assembled but havnt meshed them I also got most…En afficher davantage
Very good. I’ve also found in the writings this.: 1 x HK15298 or MG996r servo motors SO it appears for most parts you can subsitute an HK15298 with a MG996r .. Good to know 🙂

Hello everyone, I need a little hand, I have enough problems with the calibration of the potentiometer of the servos, the motors are left trembling and do not do if normal rotation, moving it by hand seems to be better, but I can not establish the central point, they are servos of 20kg and 220 degrees of torque. I do not know exactly what to do…En afficher davantage
Hello, I think you have a power issue, if you use the NervoBoard it will solve that. 1- Make sure your Arduino is grounded to the servo AND to the power source(battery) http://inmoov.fr/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/ArduinoPowerSupply1-1024×771.png 2- Make sure you have enough Amps to supply all your servos. 3- If you are using a breedboard for to…En afficher davantage

Hil. I do not know how to put my address on the builders map. I know how we could modify the power sources of the old PCs so that they work with 6V and with 7.4V. How could I put it here so that all builders could use the information? regards
Yes I also cannot add myself, it seems that they need to make that ability public on google’s my maps.
Hello, it’s been almost two years that the map is not working… Some help came to try to fix it, but it is still not resolved unfortunately.
Well the problem is that the owner needs to make it public so that people can pin in, right now the link only allows viewing, or whomever owns it could share it with someone that can share it with new people.
Hmm. I will look into this a little bit I work at a newspaper and will ask the digital editor what we use for things like this, maybe we can get a new one goin while saving all the current info on it. I would be willing to tinker with it.

Hello All! I am just getting started with InMoov (as a school project). Apparently I ran into a Problem with the VirtualInmoov. I followed the instuctions to setup MRL but it seems that I am not able to controll the fingers inside of the Virtual-InMoov. Maybe one of you knows about this issue and could help me out?
Hello, In the version MRL 2693.7, the virtual InMoov cannot move the fingers. I am currently reworking all the 3D files in order to have more potential for the next MRL release. Hopefully the fingers and the eyes will be operational in VinMoov.
