did the bottom thigh part fit on the top knee part ?
yesterday i printed the left leg. i noticed when i line up the parts on the outside the holes dont match, they are off by 4mm

      Hello Robert,
My mistake, it’s fixed now. But you do not need to re-print, just extend the holes with a drill and it will do the trick.

Hello Sir, Thank you very much for Sharing your project so that students like me can learn Robotics. I have printed some parts already. Sir can you share printing guide for all the parts. I would be of great help if you could do it. I’m using ABS. Thank you very much Sir.

Watch your acceleration speeds, looks like they are too fast. If in doubt, slow down on speeds. And if your printer isnt properly calibrated the corners will be not sharp as yours arent. That can be tweaked with accel speeds and jerk in the eeprom settings. Also it depends onwhat printer you have. But 80mm/s infill is pretty fast. Start with slow…[Read more]

Sir I’m using Anet A8 printer with Cura software. As you told Sir, the corners are not sharp and nozzle temperature was bit high. Sir which slicing software you recommend me to use and also can you give me your slicer settings so that I will try them to get better understanding of 3d printer.

All in PLA, I have never used ABS. Seems to work fine even with gears etc. I am going to try PETG for my InMoov neck parts that keeps breaking [BH mod that Gael has recently updated]

That was my thought – It is too white for PLA… Could you say me from which company you bought your PLA? I am searching for the bright white you are having too!

lorn campbell replied 8 years, 1 month ago

The PLA is from Technologyoutlet.co.uk but I buy it from Amazon as its cheaper there. Always used this brand and its been good. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Premium-quality-filament-suitable-printers/dp/B00I8MRPDM/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1509304225&sr=8-4&keywords=pla+filament+1.75mm

The PETG I am going to try is from e3D-online EDGE range

Hello, I want to print stomach en pla, how much infill do you recommend? 100%?

    RollBackLeftV1.stl
    RollBackRightV1.stl
    RollFrontLeftV1.stl
    RollFrontRightV1.stl

    • Profile picture of Mindless

100% is properly overkill ,,, 3mm to 5mm shell thickness and 30% to 50% infill is good allrounder for strong parts – ,, it’s really hard to give an exact printing method,,, everyone has their favourite methods/technics of printing and it depends on the slicer and extruder too ,,,
