Starting the Inmoov build…have torso, left shoulder and head printed on cr-10s…just received a lot of servos….enjoying these challenges in my retirement….skull needs redone as it seems awkward….thank you Gael for this project…..

This is taking ages on a single printer so I dusted of the Kossel mini delta printer too. Electronics so far seems pretty easy, so might build a cable loom instead of the nervo board setup.

  Unfortunately the map is out of function since almost two years.
  We already got some help from different members but it never got completely resolved. It’s mainly a problem of creating a new map directly on the InMoov site with the importation of all the previous map Google data.

33 servos arrive I went with some beefier servoes in a slightly smaller format that will demand some redesigns. Parts will be published on thingivers as soon as they are proved working.

I printed my 1st InMoov head using PLA. Now I am working on the latest design, re-printing all parts in PETG. Great material. Which kind of screws did you use to connect the two neck plates?

I have been printing out the neck parts but the Piston parts are not fitting together. I have tried several different brand of filament (PLA) and different layers 0.2 and 0.3mm. The screw part (neckpistonside V1) does not fit into the part (neckpiston V2) Neither do the neck front piston parts. It is too tight of a fit.

you can get a dremel and some 600 grit maybe 400 grit sanding set. The screw can be honed down to fit correctly. This will give you better operation later. Our team has had to fit everything by hand because of the tight fit.

  My first screw parts were an extremely tight fit. I put it in a vice and used a wrench to wind it in and out, eventually it got better. After that I printed everything with .15 layers and all is so much better. No problem with any of the pieces fitting since.

Usually, I print gears and lead screw scaled down 97.5%, and this fit with minor sanding.
