? a brand new dual extrusion head with coolers for the object and the extruders? Cooling the upper part of the extruder can prevent clogging – good. Enjoy the pic – once you start printing it won’t look as good as now!
for ooze free multiple extrusion in a single object have a look at this

It’s a dual extruder upgrade for the Vertex K8400 3D printer from Velleman. I can easily identify it, since I have the same printer for almost 2 years now. It works very well for PLA printing. It makes it possible to print different colors, but more importand, different materials. I tried it about a year ago, but at that time I have print quality…[Read more]

Mindless, I have downloaded your 3D InMoov Man – nice work. Should I be able to move parts around so I can see the internal parts? The drawing loads as a “Read only” file in SketchUp. Or is the drawing just that, a drawing of the assembled parts?

It a complete 3d model,,, so you hide parts to see inside him- or you make changes to parts then export that part as STL (Need Plugin) and print them out-,,, if your new to 3d modelling it will take a bit of time how to work stuff out,,,- but SketchUp is one of the easiest of the 3d modelling platform-

Sorry about that,,,,,now where was I,,,
But you cannot work on the same file in two different widows —,, think of it as a “Master and Slave” set up,, the first time you open Inmoov man is the Master and if you open it again without closing that Inmoov the others will be loaded as slaves (read only),,,, and you cannot modify the slave ver…[Read more]

Good question Perry- This is one use of a hundred mods/uses you can do with -3d Inmoov-
This mod allows the servo and gear to be positioned by just loosening and tightening the grub screw- You send the command line to the servo to adjust its position,,—,,then adjust the gear to the position you want,,, and then tighten the screw ,, I wasn’t s…[Read more]

Nope,,,, HS-805BB are the cheapest out there for their size,,, prices are all over the place with servos-,, have a look at quite a few web-shops before buying- you should be paying around $35usd for them- but check out the “postage cost” before buying ,,,

I use the HK15338. They are the same size and cost $15 USD. Available in the US too.

Everything is a tradeoff. They are basically clones and can be modified in the same way as the 805’s.
A little less torque, a little less speed but definitely usable. I have been happy with them.

I have a question about the finger-tip sensors. I notice that the nervo break-out boards have the same 3 input pins as the servo ones (pos, neg and S). The finger sensors only have 2 wires for each. The circuit diagram looks like the 2 wires go to the positive and S pins only. Is this correct? If so do we ignore the ground pin? Is there anything…[Read more]

      Hi, Marten.
I understand now where to connect the SIP resistor. I note that there are type A and type B in those resistor networks. Is the one I need the type A? (isolated). I have been asking around but haven’t yet found anyone who knows or who knows which value I need. If you find out can you reply please?
