    • Hello,
You do not need to re install everytime you get an error.
If you want to re install, create a new directory as for example:
      C:Mrlmyrobotlab.1.0.2693NEW/
And install inside the new directory. This way you can keep the other version with all your settings.

Did anyone use JX PDI-HV2060MG and get problem to unscrew the bolts of this servo? I am going open this motor but can not unscrews these 2 bolts. I am going to replace Hitec HS805BB on shoulder of InMoov!

    • Strange, I had no difficulties unscrewing these screws on my HV2060MG.
You could try to gently warm up the aluminium casing with hot gun to help releasing these screws.

      • Do i need to open these 2 screws to make 360 rotation of servo motor? I got some recommendation to no necessary to take these 2 screws. Is that right?

    Hi,

I found that my InMoov robot under EZPad Mini 5 tablet was a little bit slow response.

    1. Is there a better performance table that anyone ever tried?

    2. Or do we need to use NUC instead. And if need, where is the place to put NUC in robot? And how to make the wireless connection with tablet?

    Thanks.

    • Hello,
I haven’t found a better tablet than the Lenovo Thinkpad 8″ which had 128Gb ssd and 4Gb Ram to fit in the back of InMoov. Unfortunately you cannot buy this model anymore.
The EZPad Mini 5 is certainly lacking of memory, this must be the reason it’s a bit slow with responses.

    • Hello,
The reconfirm before operate used to work with the first MyRobotLab version.
This was prior having a chatbot for the robot.
You could modify the AIML files in order to have the same effect than the old version but it will take you a lot of time to rewrite each command.

It varies according to the servo motor production.

So the first step has been taken! I am currently upgrading my printer so it can print ABS.

  • Rick posted an update 7 years ago

I am experimenting with how acetone vapor smooths the surface of ABS filament. This boat benchy was place in a vapor bath for 30 minutes. I plan on doing this with my Inmoov.

    • I know, done it myself but given up because:
      – acetone is bad for your health
      – try using pla instead of abs, much easier and less stinky!

      • Awesome Finish,,, My Only warning is that Pressurized Vapor is actually about 1/8 to a 1/2 stick of TNT,,,, 2Tbps of Petrol Pressurized and Vapor is about 1/2 a stick,,, Acetone Can be just as dangerous So be Careful Dude,,,, they don’t normal tell you that in the Instruction Book,,,,,,, once again Awesome finish

        • Holly Sh++,

Thanks Mindless. I didn’t know that but I will keep in mind. I don’t keep it under pressure when I smooth ABS in the vapor. I also make my own rocket fuel using confectioners sugar and potassium nitrate. Guess who is going to put a little acetone in with the mix……. (This GUY). If I blow my hand off I’ll let you know!

      • Hell juerg,

I use 3D Solutech ABS filament and it doesn’t smell any different than the PLA.
