I rebuilt all of Inmoovs parts in SketchUp so i can Mod the design to my specs,,, i know what you mean about the Elbow not rotating 90degs,,,,, but dont worry about it ,,,,, it will all make sense when the arm is built

No need to mirror any parts. Build both Biceps the same. The pot and related gears will end up on the outside of the Right Bicep and on the inside of the Left Bicep. These are then attached to RobPart5 (right and left) on the forearm.

The elbow will go straight and to 90 degress. Follow Gael’s tutorial here http://inmoov.fr/bicep/ and it will all work out good.

I might be wrong but i think you printed the wrong side of the « ElbowShaftGear » or its back to front ,,,?

      • Illustration du profil de Damian
Damian replied il y a 8 ans et 6 mois

Part is fine, there is only one ElbowShaftGear for both( unless i cant find for right side)

Hello Damian, you simply didn’t put the potentiometer on the correct side of the elbow, therefore you have set ElbowShaftGear upside down.

Thanks Mindless, it was just looking through Gael’s instructions for the forearm build, he seemed to have 4 holes in the side which you have to redrill and put the bushings from the servo in. All the files I’ve found so far don’t seem to have those 4 holes and I don’t know where to put them.

Super, donc avec LocalSpeech les voix Voxygen peuvent être prise en charge.
Je n’ai jamais tenté cette direction. Merci à Anthony et Dominique pour cette intégration dans MRL.

      Hello Mindless,
You must have the first version, this was an issue that was reported a few days after I posted the parts. I have modified since then. ( I had mixed a piece of the motorized legs with the non motorized when uploading)
      ThighLowRightV3.stl
      ThighLowLeftV3.stl

Yes, this must happen to many people.
I see some builders still printing the original hand that I posted in 2011 on Thingiverse, instead of the updated version from the site.

Darn, I must have printed the early versions. I’m all glued up too. One of the pains of being one of the first printers. Oh well, mine seem to align a bit better and since I have a color transition it is not noticeable.

Hey yes, that’s the privilege to use beta version!
You should see the boxe of beta pieces that are unused in my workshop…
Anyway the motorized legs will require to almost reprint it all.

Hi Gael, I am grateful to you for having met Gael and Inmoov.
Also, I feel great happiness in making Inmoov.
I was worried about one, and I was asked this question.
It was suggested that Inmoov made his own appearance on TV drama CF elsewhere. So I thought I had to give Gael permission to proceed with this. Thank you again for being able to meet…En afficher davantage

Good progress, what is your plan about that TV drama CF? Can you tell me more about it?

    • Illustration du profil de SeungChan Lee
SeungChan Lee replied il y a 8 ans et 7 mois

It seems to be CF related to American drama to be broadcast in Korea.
CF is a scene where a robot with AI is talking to a person, and Inmoov will be used at that time. Maybe Inmoov is only moving Jaw.
