    No worries,, It was like a lava Lamp I couldn’t stop staring at it,, I had the same problem in the 3d software to get the right orientation of the parts ,,,, it took me quite a few attempts before I got it right,,,

Mindless, I have downloaded your 3D InMoov Man – nice work. Should I be able to move parts around so I can see the internal parts? The drawing loads as a « Read only » file in SketchUp. Or is the drawing just that, a drawing of the assembled parts?

  Left-click a part (to highlight it in blue), then right-click and choose Hide.

  It a complete 3d model,,, so you hide parts to see inside him- or you make changes to parts then export that part as STL (Need Plugin) and print them out-,,, if your new to 3d modelling it will take a bit of time how to work stuff out,,,- but SketchUp is one of the easiest of the 3d modelling platform-

    But you cannot work on the same file in two different widows —,, think of it as a “Master and Slave” set up,, the first time you open Inmoov man is the Master and if you open it again without closing that Inmoov the others will be loaded as slaves (read only),,,, and you cannot modify the slave ver…En afficher davantage

Good question Perry- This is one use of a hundred mods/uses you can do with -3d Inmoov-
This mod allows the servo and gear to be positioned by just loosening and tightening the grub screw- You send the command line to the servo to adjust its position,,—,,then adjust the gear to the position you want,,, and then tighten the screw ,, I wasn’t s…En afficher davantage

I have fixed the small gap in the forehead.
It was easy with the heat gun en some CA glue.
Now the attention wont be drawn to the shadow in the for head as much

Hey all. Anyone else having trouble enabling comments for uploaded pics.Ive been updating my album and even though when i save a pic it shows the option chosen as \ »comments enabled\ », the pics show up with a comments disabled message after saving…any ideas why that might be?

Hello ! I\’m trying to build two inmoov arms and I\’m just starting to look at the electronics. I have taken a few years of programming (java and C++) and I\’m wondering why myrobotlab is being used instead of the arduino IDE exclusively, besides voice control. Can somebody explain the purpose of each program?

Welcome to the InMoovers 🙂

MRL is (in my eye’s) much stronger/faster then Arduino IDE/Boards itself.
It’s running at a faster system then a single Aduino board, so there are much more options possible.
And the InMoov is a default Robot in MRL which is cool and more easy for beginners.

  having arduinos only will have very limited capabilities of controlling the whole robot. think of optical object recognition, speech recognition and voice output or simply look at all the services MRL is providing
