Waoo cool!
Hello, It sounds like you have tangled the tendons somewhere. Inside the finger itself perhaps. This affects the ability to move a finger, because when one tendon tries to pull it also stops the other tendon to release. And yes each finger needs it’s own min and max position.
Hello, On your picture you are giving an angle between thos two parts, but if you align the holes there shouldn’t be any gap. (Or almost no gap, it depends on the quality of your print) See the image: http://inmoov.fr/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Sans-titre.png
Ah, now InMoov has a legging! Nice work shop by the way!
Wow,,,, that’s Bright , that Reddish/Maroon colour almost looks likes its Anodized Alloy in the Pic– very cool,,, never would of though that colour would look so good on Inmoov–
Nice color mix!
Hey, rock it!!
Real cool !
Hello, Your printer slicer software needs a better calibration. It’s slightly over extruding.
It’s important to have screws that go all the way through the ball because they are much too fragile. I had to glue them with acetone a few times already due to travelling. If I would do something in redesigning this, I would over dimension those balls and their axes.
Yep,, I agree Mr Gael- ,, I was playing around with them last night and the Endballs are 12mm Día with a 7mm Día shaft which is just too small– –
I’ll start by printing a series a of Endballs and shafts at different sizes – but I think 18mm or 20mm will be a good size but won’t know for sure until I start printing tonight ,, I know a few tricks…[Read more]
Nice prints! As you know I print InMoov in ABS, and try to print everything without support. I print the worm gear and bicep piston parts without support. I never run fans in my printer to cool down the parts, but I have set an aquarium pump with a tiny tube that travels all the way to the printing head, which then blows precisely an air stream…[Read more]
Ha ,,Ha,, and I thought I was the only one crazy enough to have a Air Pump from a Fish Tank on a Printer (But my son wasn’t impressed that I killed all the fish) – but anyway,,, that was the only way I found to get good Print in ABS too—,, the good thing about using PLA+ is it forces me to design without gluing to be an option which is chall…[Read more]
Hello John, I agree it’s better to add electronics as you built the head.
Video Head
The eye mechanism requires only two servo and the price for these servo is much lower than $60. Eye tutorial:
Eye Mechanism
Servo DS929HV for the eye average price is: €5.78 (Hobbyking)
Acapulco, you are going to have legs moving i a short time! Thanks for posting!
Always great to see a father and son working on a project together!
Yeah huge printer indeed!!
Great prints and build Perry!
Super looking robots!
Hello, To run your kinect with MyRobotLab, you need to set it in the config files. The Nervo Board doesn’t take control of the kinect, it’s the software MyRobotLab that will take over. 1-Install MRL by following this tutorial:
Hi I am obviously having trouble negotiating around the site. I can find printing the parts but I am having trouble finding tutorials or step by steps on building the parts. I want to get the black screws to connect the eye piece to the upper mouth. What type of screws do I need and where would there be a step by step guide to construction be?I…[Read more]– John Hughes (@templar66) November 22, 2017

Hello, Your issue lays in the main config, you need to modify Virtual to LeftSide or Full if you have both Arduino connected.. https://github.com/MyRobotLab/inmoov/blob/master/InMoov/config/_InMoov.config.default

Hi Gael, i sent you a privaye mail last week , i need to speak with you, is posible? Thanks Gael.
In the neck tutorial you can find this video which is usefull for to assemble the head:
Hi So I am slowly progressing with the 3d printing of the head parts, and I can see that there is a tutorial for putting the eye mech together and for mounting the jaw. Are there other pictorial tutorials on how to build the whole head up? Kind Regards Ian- John Hughes (@templar66) December 1, 2017

Hello Lecagnois, InMoov is 1,80m tall with his legs.
Merci Gael , il va être plus grand que moi …….
Currently I didn’t attach the butt, because it is where InMoov is fixed to the rolling platform. Which I use a lot when travelling with InMoov. http://inmoov.fr/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Leg3-e1510697878119.jpeg http://inmoov.fr/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Leg2-e1510697891454.jpeg http://inmoov.fr/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Leg1-e1510697905427.jpg
What do you mean there’s no Butt,,,, I need the Butt – the Butt is the most important part –- and I know You could Sculpt a great Butt – stop freaking me out —,, Oh my god I’m having a panic attack I need some Valium,,,…[Read more]
Okay thanks for the feedback, I fixed the link. There is also those links with the same Arduino code: http://www.inmoov.fr/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/FingerStarter1.txt

Fantastic!! Your printer must be smoking hot by now! Oh, may I suggest you do something quick about his eyes. It hurts me to see his eyes like this. 🙂
🙂 I’m in the processing of using a new eye mechanism so hoping it will fix his eyes. 🙂
Sweet.
hello @admin J ai bientôt fini la jambe gauche .Peut tu me dire combien mesure InMoov sur ses jambes . Afin de refaire la potence.
I soon finished the left leg. Can you tell me how much InMoov measures on his legs. To rebuild the gallows.
Handy! Not sure if the term is appropriate though…
Woouiii, I can see that your printer is kept busy!
It is indeed! 🙂 It’s soooo cool to see these come together. Exciting times indeed! Thanks for the great work! 😀
Hello Robert, My mistake, it’s fixed now. But you do not need to re-print, just extend the holes with a drill and it will do the trick.
Let me know which one you want to use. Some are under Right reserved terms. For the other one, as long as the credits are correctly displayed, it will be good to have InMoov displayed in another Makerfaire. Which Makerfaire by the way? You can add your event in the calendar event…[Read more]
I would like to use two photos from the Gallery/photos section. They are labelled InMoovSkullSmall.jpg and DSC_0036bis2.jpg, or if you think you have more appropriate photos I would be happy to use them. Congratulations, Civrays InMoov is progressing nicely!
I’m using standard electronic solder 1.0mm diameter. I recommend thinner diameter if you are not used to soldering. The XT60 headers need a good amount of heat to be correctly soldered.
Very good! Did you see you can select various type of voices in the InMoov config of MyRobotLab.
Yea, I would have loved to give him a scottish accent, sadly they only got a womans voice for English scottish at acapela-group.com. My biggest struggle at the moment though is to get the face recognition to work. I need to have another look at that this weekend.
Super mobile plateforme! Are you going to use the kinect for slam mobility?
Thanks Gael! That is possible. For now is fun to have it remote control. Here it is rolling with a lot of people for 3 hours straight! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wK3rZHgVgrw
Great work! Looks like InMoov saw something coming out of the closet when you took the picture.
Great progress Perry! How does it feel to see InMoov with legs? It took me a while to get used to it.
It’s funny Gael. As you can see my guy is mounted on an office chair base. I am used to him being much closer to ground level. It will take some getting used to. So now for the big question. Where is the butt? Does he have that section designed?
I think he needs a nice squidgy butt 🙂 Something comfy for him to sit on.
Hello Mindless, Thanks for the help you provide to the other builders. You can check from time to time the Update list that I keep for people to track what I have changed:

Get your printers warmed UP!! The legs I had created a long time ago for InMoov are ready to download.
These are the version for standing, not motorized. Beware that some parts exceed the 12x12x12 standard. The reason is that I was not going to upload these parts but time to create the motorised legs is taking much longer because I barely have…[Read more]

Oh, very nice. Magnifique!
I’m asking the same question where is for download?
Hello, Did you flash the Arduino with the MRLComm.ino which is located in the: C:\\Myrobotlab\\myrobotlab.1.0.2340\\resource\\Arduino\\MrlComm/MRLComm.ino

Hello Rishabh, The Nervo board you ordered on the 10/09/17 was posted on the 13/09/17. It’s been 8 days since the shipping was done. Of course the fact you forgot to put your post code in your adress, might take a while and if they cannot find you, they while (if all goes good) return the package to sender. We can expect a delay of three months…[Read more]
Hello, Most shipping are done through regular post, unless the country has serious issues with postage. (South Africa, China, and some others) I then need to require a courier which add extra cost to the buyer unfortunately. Your country is normally working well through normal post, but I am mostly concerned if you forgot to add the zip code. We…[Read more]
Hello, Thanks for your concern. Unfortunately, I wasn\’t requested for the MF New York this year. If you plan to set a booth with your InMoov, you can set yourself on tha calendar. https://openagenda.com/inmoov?oaq%5Bpassed%5D=1&lang=en
